Rotary 14730 Black Vortex Trimmer Line .105" x 185'

I love this trimmer line. I am new to gas powered trimmers since I have only used battery powered ones up until I got my Remington RM2599 for my birthday this year. I watched many YouTube videos before deciding on a line to buy.After watching several guys (that make their living using gas powered string trimmers) videos on YouTube about this trimmer line, you will see that the engineering design causes the line to rotate in a parallel plane instead of "wobble" like other trimmer lines. To be clear, I am in no way affiliated with the manufacturer or seller and did not get any compensation for writing this review. I want you to do your own research and draw your own conclusion.I was able to cut down 1/4 inch vines with this line, but not without damage to the line, but then again that is not the intended purpose. If you were to just use this line on grass and occasionally hit concrete or asphalt or rock, one piece will last for the whole perimeter of the yard (1/2 acre and about 45 minutes). If you were to frequently hit the chain link fence, then yes, you will wear this line out ... but not as much as the line that came with my unit, or probably most other brands.This spool will last me a long time.

3 yards, 2 paved driveways and 3 ditch lines. Tapped it once on a 30cc Stihl. It just ate everything I put in front of it. I dont know what kind of sorcery this thing is made of. This same task would have taken a spool of the old stuff. I cant speak for this lines shelf life and if it will get brittle, but out the box I am more than satisfied.

This line is better than many I have tried but still nowhere near as good as RedMax brand twisted line.

I think I bounced the trimmer head ONCE during my spring lawn/walk start-up, and twice along the rough curb line. I'm also using on my walk behind trimmer/mower. I changed that line twice during my paved alleyway cleanup! Easy to dispense reel, only drawback....no line cutter.

This just did not work for me, my weed wacker is to strong for this trimmer line it just would not work right and kept breaking. So for myself I would not by it again maybe for someone else it would work fine.

Wanted to try a small spool before buying a big one for my landscaping company. Wow this small one has lasted forever. I'm definitely buying this for now on , saves me a lot of money in the long run

This trimmer line is the best one I've ever used. I trim fence lines around wire fencing and I grew tired of other trimmer lines breaking all the time and having to frequently stop and re-feed the line from the spool. I haven't had to do that once with this line. I am very happy with this product.

Not impressed it seems to break alot

No better cutting performance than much cheaper strimmer lines, and tends to jam in the spool head so I won't be buying again.
