This Newness stainless steel soup ladle is easily one of the best kitchen utensils I’ve bought. The 304 stainless steel feels solid and rustproof, and it’s clearly built to last. I love that it’s one solid piece (integral forming) — no joints or seams where food can get stuck. The vacuum ergonomic handle is surprisingly comfortable and doesn’t get hot, even when stirring soup or sauces for a while. It’s also lightweight but sturdy, and the polished finish gives it a high-end look. The 13.7-inch length is perfect for deep pots, keeping my hands away from the heat. Excellent quality and totally worth the price.

I was looking for a soup ladle that wasn't made of plastic and worse yet would not have to be submerged in a hot dish of food or soup. Have you ever left a plastic scoop or spoon in the pot of hot food only to have it soften to a minor melt and leave a plastic taste in the food. This ladle is metal and has a nice, but slight weight to it. And the upper part of the handle feels comfortably solid. This is a quality product and I am very happy with it.

This seems like a sturdy ladle and this is supposed to be a gift but I’m not sure if it’s a warehouse issue or the seller issue but the ladle packing was poor and dirty and the ladle itself is scratched.

I was astonished to realize I was using a plastic ladle for my homemade, organic soups! 🤦🏼‍♀️ With all we have learned about microplastics entering our food and bodies, especially when heated, I don’t know how I missed this! It’s astonishingly sad to realize how much of our food is in contact with plastic (just check out your refrigerator or pantry) I can’t get all my food out of plastic but this was a simple change I could make. I am very happy with my choice, great style, good weight and balance and just the right size cup for dishing out my soup! Sending you love and light!
