I've always used the universal snap ring pliers that you can change the tip for different conditions. They always seemed to fail in the more difficult areas to reach. These work great and are worth the money.

Had to remove some snap rings from a bearing retainer on an old 20hp DC motor (swapping bearings).Pliers removed ring without a problem, took a few attempts (5~6 attempts) but it got done within a reasonable amount of time , it helps to have a shim or knife to slip under the rings the moment they are compressed to prevent them from snapping back in place when the pliers inevitably slip out of the pin holes ....

Very good tool set with several different pliers. This is required for working on electronics and machines. I have used them sox times in just a few weeks. Incredibly versatile, this set has made it into my daily work bag.

I normally don't do reviews on products but I am impressed with the product and the case it came in plus I received it in 2 days. Very nice.

The pliers are a good size, non-slip handles, versatile. The repair required both the straight and 90 degree tips. The case keeps them separate as a specialty tool in my tool caddy. Excellent purchase.

The pliers are as described, and of acceptable quality for the price. However, one of the curved nose pliers was mis-installed in the storage case, and the case was damaged on arrival (see pictures). Not worth returning and dealing with shipping, but worth knowing that you are getting what you pay for. These are NOT replacements for actual quality tools.

I know have a complete set in a nice neat case .

I didn’t know what a snap ring was, until one came off of a spinning weather vane I was getting rust off of. I needed to compress the ring to get it back in place. The compressing pliers with the curved tips worked perfectly. Reduce, reuse, recycle and repair.
