Worked pretty well at disguising odor and dissipating clouds. It has a bit of resistance when blowing through / you have to blow kind of slowly or it defeats the purpose. Not great for big thick yellow clouds but fine for everyday use. Great for hotel stays but isn't discrete enough for public use.

It worked for herb but i noticed it get clogged super fast. used it like twice a day for a week or so before i noticed it not working 100%. then got to a point where you cant barely blow through it. it was used sparingly .It worked tho.

I wish these little buddies were around in my younger years, although TBH v-ping wasnt invented then, so it would have been relatively pointless to try, but oh how I wished. So this is a perfect little discretion device that seems to work as or better than advertised. As We Know, it's probably only suited towards the one style of consumption, but it's tailor made. Visible smoke is gone at all settings (if you had your settings on Stealth it probably would be even better) and as far as I can tell the scent as well. Sort of hard to do alone, but by exhaling into a large bag I was able to catch a whiff, and usually having just caught one myself it was hard to tell, but I really couldn't pick up any tell-tale aroma. Wouldn't know about service life, those who mentioned that it was relatively brief are probably way beyond my pathetic intake.So whether you're just being stealthy or want to spare roommates of unwanted aromas, try it. The larger ones make more sense, but not as portable and from the looks, not as easy to use one-handed in the dark.

The function is fine so far, probably 20 hits through it, but that's not why I'm writing this. I've had a few of these units over the years. For some reason they decided that the caps were too easy to put on, so they changed the design of the exit port to a cap that only goes on one way. So you have a 50 50 chance of getting ti right. it's absolutely unnecessary and it seems minor until you havent gotten it on correctly the first try yet. Obviously a chinese creation with a frustration point added. Back to my old sploof.

First time trying the Jr (pocket size). It does exactly what it is intended to do: captures the smoke and eliminates the odor, just as effectively as the Original. The Jr is also more comfortable to hold and easier to store. I haven’t tried any other brands of personal air filters so I have nothing to compare it to, but this is my 4th Smokebuddy and I haven’t been let down yet.

I have owned these twice before and they worked fine. I bought one for myself and one for my husband. Received yesterday morning. Today approximately noon, smoke started pouring out of the back of mine as I blew into it. Worked fine for first 24 hours or so. No obvious damage to the item or its innards, which I did my best inspecting with a good flashlight. I’ve tried looking online to see if anyone has a “fix” for this but all I’m seeing is what seems to be a general consensus that sometimes you get a “dud.”This is terribly disappointing. We bought these for a trip we’re taking and I’ve no time to replace it. I was really looking forward to having this. Seems to me you’re rolling the dice on whether this product will work and for how long.
