WIFI for my back yard :)
This unit is easy to install and setup , I have a Eero pro on each floor of my house and it works great however I had dead spots out in my yard. I hooked this unit up on the back end of my deck ( AP bridge mode ) and now I have awesome wifi throughout my yard . Now my wifi pool light works and my Kasa wifi switch for my shed lightsVery happy so far

Dead after 30 min
Worked good for 30 minutes then it died!! Named network's and added security keys. Good thing I tested this before fully installing.I bench tested this with a laptop and it all was going well. Setup was a breeze, unboxed to running in about 10 minutes, and I had great speeds for where I am located (~100/20). Browsed around a bit and things were going great, very pleased so far. I then decided to range test it before climbing up on the roof to install.Placed the unit in a window to see what coverage I would have at ground level. Turned it on and all the lights turned green and indicator lights showed I had full connectivity.Tried connecting my phone to the network to walk around and the network was not showing up. Since I knew the name of the network I tried to manually add the network to my device. No luck.I then went back and got my laptop that was already connected to the unit. Same issue, no network. No 2.4G or 5G, nothing.I tried to hard reset based on the included instructions and the unit would not even do that. All lights still green as well. I unplugged then plugged back in. After that the hard reset worked.A few minutes later and the lights all turned green again but some issue, no network found.I then ran a scan for all networks even those that are not broadcasting SSID. Nothing found at all.Amazon accepted return and new unit is on the way. Will update review once I check the new one out.ALWAYS BENCH TEST THESE THINGS!!! How much worse this would have been had I ran all the cable and had this mounted on my roof before it crapped out!

Worked as Advertised, for about 18 months
I installed this at our cabin to extend our signal out to our travel trailer, which is about 150 feet from our router. We have no mobile data out here so this enabled our guests to stream movies in the travel trailer, which wasn't possible previously. It worked great. I installed in on the outside wall of our cabin. After about 18 months, it just stopped working. No power indicator lights on the unit, but I can see power is getting to the small component that sits between the power and the antenna. For the price, and the fact that it claims to be outdoor-friendly, I expected it to last linger than it did. Not sure I'll replace with this product for this reason.

Provides WIFI to out-buildings
I have moved to a small farm isolated from cable internet. So I uses a Sprint Hotspot modem which provides the same wifi distribution around the house as a typical modems I had while living in the city. I wanted WIFI around the yard and to outbuildings. I attached the AC600 to a 3 foot mast on the roof of the porch just outside the den where I have the Sprint modem. I got 3 bars wifi strength on my iphone at this point. The sprint modem does not have an ethernet connection so my connection from modem to AC600 had to be by WiFi. I purchased a 50 ft powered ethernet cable to replace the 3 ft cable that came with the AC600 order and used it to supply power from AC600 to an outdoor power outlet. Results: I have a workshop 145 feet from the AC600 and a pole barn 165 feet away in the opposite direction. I got a steady 2 bars on the iphone. I installed a range extender in each building and get 3 bars in each.

Pain to setup
It works with a mesh system. The setup is a pain. You'll want hold this in different spots before mounting it & test the strength of the signal. Also mount this up high as you can as wifi sinks. It's not worth the price you're paying. I mounted cameras 32 yards away & I'm only getting 20MB on speed. Also there is a 100MB limit on this so if you have 250MB or higher you will never see those speeds. I tried mounting it indoors & it didn't extend the range. It's also not waterproof as stated so mount it somewhere under an eve. Make sure you have a drip loop on the cable as well. Mount the power indoors as this can't be mounted outside.

Works great as a bridge.
I needed to get my mesh network into a metal shop building. This worked perfectly. An all metal building was stopping my mesh network signal, so i used this product as a bridge. I put the wavLink outside to pickup the signal then ran a either net cable through the wall to a google nest which broadcast the signal inside the shop. I can now go inside and out without ever dropping signal. To do this you have to pick repeater in the settings and then change it to Bridge instead of gateway.

Very good wifi extender.
This will speed up your internet signal and give you more coverage.
