Plaza Suite; a Comedy in Three Acts

I put together a dinner party with some friends, assigned each of them a part and had a great time. Bought 6 books. Three separate couples all visiting suite 719. There are several minor roles that can be played by one of the”actors” from the other acts. Total of 2 hours for the read through. The first act is the most challenging.

This play is so conflicted and funny at the same time. Having never read a Neil Simon play, I was blown away by how nuanced but true-to-life he makes his characters. You can feel the awkwardness and eccentricities of them jumping out at you from the pages. It's really a rollarcoaster of emotions but worth the ride! Great read! I would read more of his works

Well written

This is a rather dated set of three one-act plays- difficult to read with all the stage and actor movements, from the first production added to the script. It probably play better!

Ok but the ink is not dark. Makes it harder to read. Cant read some words but maybe only 100 words. Can figure most, if not all of them, by context. In another year the book may be unreadable.

Great Comedy, good characterization of the stories

Not crazy about reading plays or Neil Simon.

Love this play!!! I played Karen in a show recently!! So funny.

The book came very swiftly and was in great condition, not too unused, just enough to look like it was just pulled off one's own bookshelf, as tho' it'd been there for years. Lovely.
