When I first purchased this item I didn't realize that I was getting as much as I did, but I'm so glad that I got this because I tend to get headaches and this stuff is fantastic for holding it's cold. It arrived cold, it stays cold, it has some kind of gel inside that if the bag gets punctuated seems like it won't leak out to any great degree. It freezes solid and really hangs onto that cold. What more could you ask of any product? It does what it says it will do, it does it impressively well, and it's extremely affordable. Buy it, try it, and you will not only buy it again, but you will be bragging about it to friends and relatives. 4 cases of these and you could keep a dead relative fresh from Canada to Mexico...if you needed to. More likely if you're a hunter (of animals) it will keep it cold and fresh from the field to back home, if you're a fisherman, same thing, this is even useful to the vegetarian Hunter, after you sneak up and kill those wild radishes, or potatoes, they will stay fresh until you rip off their skins and eat their flesh. In short, it's an inexpensive, long lasting, portable, block of ice.

Good quality plastic so they are sturdy when frozen - a good price too.

I wanted to use these for my kids' lunch boxes, but they are HUGE. Better for ice chests, like when you're out all day at the ballfields for your kids' sports. As far as staying cold, they are great. Just bigger than I anticipated/wanted.

They work great. They stayed frozen during shipping food to a friend which was a 2 day ground shipping.

Should have purchased gel that does not freeze so solid. I use them in ice boots for my horse. The thickness is a problem-leave them sit out for half a day and then use. Used them three times-started leaking? Unsure if they are reusable? Got a box now-will use in ice chest.
