The wider shape helps jackets, coats, and structured shirts maintain their form much better than thinner standard hangers. I spent more time reorganizing the closet than testing the hangers because they immediately made everything look cleaner and more organized. The black finish gives them a simple professional appearance that works well in any closet setup. The plastic feels durable and the metal hooks rotate smoothly, making it easy to position garments without hassle. The notched shoulders are useful for keeping straps or delicate pieces from slipping off. One thing to keep in mind is that the wider design takes up more closet space, especially when storing bulkier garments. I’ve used them for heavy oilskin jackets and leather dusters, so wet life jackets should be okay. **Q: Are these good for hanging aweaters?** A: I would say yes they are plastic and they are very wide so they will not leave any hanger impressions in the sweater like smaller narrow hangers do **Q: how much weight can they hold?** A: It will hold a suit or a heavy full length coat. I'm sure you could even put several garments on it if you wanted to do that. It is a sturdy product. **Q: On the imitation wood gold-color hanger, is the wood pattern ingrained in the surface or is it a film applied on outer surface that can peel/wear off?** A: Our natural wood grain hangers with locking bars 15 pack is the use of advanced water transfer printing technology, natural planted on the surface of the hanger, not paint film, will not easily peel off wear, you can rest assured that feel free to use! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like 'em *by J***D on September 29, 2026* We're repeat customers ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and Supportive Design, Great for Jackets and Suits, Size Requires Closet Space *by A***N on May 5, 2026* These extra wide suit hangers do a great job supporting heavier clothing without causing shoulder creases or fabric stretching. Second they are over priced for some plastic hangars. Third, the bottom edges are sharp. EDIT: bought them again, and this set are not sharp on the edges. I also filed the sharp ones from the first order to smooth them. They do hold jackets and other tops well with good wide support in the shoulders, and this is why I bought them - to hang suits and blazers. I'm not sold on the square pants bar, seems like it will leave a crease, and I can't get my head around why they didn't make it round instead. I'd buy them again, only because the wooden alternatives I tried were all junk, arriving broken and with splinters or having sharp bits that snagged clothes. ## Frequently Bought Together - Plastic Extra Wide Suit Hangers, Pack of 15, Width: 17.7",Notched Shoulders & Metal Hooks, Black - Amazon Basics Durable Wooden Suit Clothes Hangers - Cherry, 20-Pack - MORALVE Pants Hangers Space Saving - 2 Pack European Beechwood Scarf and Jean Hangers - Closet Organizer and Space Saver Pant Rack, Leggings Hanger, and Scarf Holder with 360° Swivel Hook --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/143376190-plastic-extra-wide-suit-hangers-pack-of-15-width-17](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/143376190-plastic-extra-wide-suit-hangers-pack-of-15-width-17) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
