**Q: Will this binding machine really bind 13” long paper**
A: There would be a small gap at the top or bottom, depending on how you punch. The max size is A4 paper (8.27 x 11.69 inches), so in theory 12" is max. But you could just eye-ball it. It works great, so for the cheaper cost, maybe eye-balling is worth it for you...

**Q: Does the handle  fold down for easy storage?**
A: It does not fold down...but you could unscrew the side bolts and take the handle off...not that that method would be convenient, because then you'd have to put it back on with each use.

**Q: How do you adjust the machine for the binding?**
A: I'm not positive what you mean by 'adjust', but I think what mean is just how to bind as well?? When punching the holes, pull the lever down; when binding, insert the comb in the back of the 'teeth' and push the lever back to open the comb. There should be a video to watch this on the item page...I think...

**Q: can it cut a plastic card like a gift card?**
A: I haven’t tried anything that thick, but will cut laminated cardstock.

For years I've been going to Staples to PAY to have this exact type of comb binding done, usually for a round $5, AND the time it takes waiting for the staff to get around to me. That could take anywhere from 20 minutes to half an hours depending on how busy the store is. I was rather surprised to find that the binding machine wasn't that expensive. This is an amazing value. You get 100 binding combs to start you off as well? Certainly, this machine easily pays for itself. This works great, is very sturdy, and reliable. Very pleased!
