I can't say enough about this glow in the dark string winder. You can pull the head off and it's chucked to slip right into your drill/driver, but don't get too wild with it or you'll break every string on your guitar.This company makes a lot of good products for guitarists and this is another such. If you don't want to use a drill gun, it rolls those strings on without a bunch of carpal tunnel pain from hand twisting machine heads.And did I say, it glows in the dark?

It does what it's meant to do, which is to wind the guitar strings but...this winder is absolutely amazing in the sense that you can manually wind or detach the head of the winder and place it on a automatic screwdriver and wind that way. Absolutely amazing! I wish that they had this over 15 years ago!!! Well...maybe they did but I just finally caught onto it.

I really like this string winder. You can detach the handle and use the socket to turn the keys with that, or you could use an electric screwdriver as well. The construction of this winder is ideal for tuning keys which are recessed, as in the Traveler Guitar or Soloette, but it works beautifully with any guitar.
