I cannot give this camera more than 2 stars simply because it does not do the purpose of the security camera. It may give you a notification of a motion, but it does not capture first 5-6 or more seconds of the motion activity. So, when you watch the clip, nothing is there. I wanted to give this camera a try, because I like how it is built. I changed the angle, but no. You have no clue what triggers the alert. So it is useless from that prospective. I found a support email for this camera manufacturer, and sent my questions. No one responded in two weeks. I also wanted to try this camera at a different location. So, I had to go through a new WiFi set up. It would not set up easily. Motion sensor only works at the high setting. Anything less, the camera is silent and not capturing any motion. Unfortunately, I have to return it.

I am not great with these types of things but this was very easy to set up. The APP was easy to download. The camera was easy to mount - I used the magnetic mount. One screw and slip the mount over the screw and camera on the mount. However, as others have mentioned, the camera's motion-sensing response time is too slow to capture some motion. For example, we have this mounted at our front door. When delivery people drop off packages, they move pretty quickly, so all the camera captures usually is them leaving. Clearly this is not an issue for people that come to the door and take a few seconds to linger (like most people do). The live view works fine - it is easy to access from the APP - as long as you have decent wifi speed. We have usually only about 10-20 MB/s and it works fine - sometimes a little slow to respond or buffers. I would think most people have greater speed than that and it will work just fine for them. The doorbell feature works very well also - If not a bit delayed because of the slow response to motion.

Initially drawn to this unit because it came in black and the reviews and price seem to be on par with similar units. Placing the unit with a good vantage point seemed simple. However if you have shrubs, squirrels or a neighbor with a flag, you get hundreds of notifications. If you reduce the motion sensitivity to Medium, then you can literally stand in front of waving your arms and nothing. If you have a controled environment and keep it on high there is still the delay issue. You might get an image of the person who just lifted your Amazon package but it will be as they are walking away. After experimenting with it for over three months, i have founds its only good for spying on my cat. Ps. Never tried using the intercom feature.

I got only night vision view and it would not connect to a strong wifi signal. I will see if the replacement works but I'm not expecting it to.Update: After resetting and uninstalling the app I started over again and it seems to be working better now. The only complaint id the delay in the motion detection. (sometimes it even misses the motion detection completely) The picture is crystal clear..the app is ok not great but usable. Upgrading from 1 star to 4 star(would give it 3 1/2 )

The camera itself is very sturdy and well-made. It looks like the camera will be effective. My BIGGEST problem is the complete lack of documentation for this product. There was a very small (8 page, two-inch high) guide to setting up the app to work with the camera, but there was absolutely no documentation as to how to run the actual camera. I searched and searched and found no product documentation anywhere on the Net. This is the most important literature we need to run the product!!!! Also, there is no SIM card included, which means that if you want to review the video captured at all, you have to go buy a SIM card. This was not clear at all on the Amazon ad (although after I looked again, it is buried in the fine print). The SIM card used for the camera is also a different than normal style, so you have to be careful to buy the right one. Overall, the product seems like it will work very well and is very sturdy, but the supporting information is very, very poor.

After headaches of research we settled on this camera, it fit our budget and does a great job, it comes with 2 installation options a quick magnet you can hang up like a picture frame or a heavy duty bracket to drill in pretty much anywhere. We set it up on their app and had surveillance going in minutes, just set up app on one phone at a time, my husband and I did it on our phones at the same time and jummbled the signals so we started again but that was our fault the last page on the booklet explained to do one phone then click share to other devices, again excellent 2 way speaker, night vision and option to record motion only or continuously, highly recommend

I tried a couple of cameras in a higher price range and neither worked, especially the night vision. This camera works well, great picture and good night vision. Also, the camera I received was a return and a couple of parts were missing, e.g. the charging cord, etc. I contacted the seller and asked if they could send me the missing parts. They sent another camera, a new one. Great customer service.

Excellent picture quality, really good battery life. ToSee software is not so great, could not add more than one user to a camera. The mounting base is very poorly made, had to super glue the base to keep it steady. Motion detection is not very responsive, always "after the event", video clips sometimes miss the motion altogether because of the delay in recording. Like that events are recorded on an SD card and card be played back without a cloud connection or even directly from the SD card with a card r reader.
