Healthy Hair Plus - AF Scalp Treatment Kit Targets Scalp Irritation.

It came early than expected I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I'm looking forward to having healthier looking hair again

I started a few years ago with a small dry spot in the back of my head. Not sure why it all of a sudden showed up, but it did. As the years went by it gradually got worse. I have tried everything my dermatologist recommended with no success. I tried tea tree products and anything else that said would help my dry on fire scalp. I was so embarrassed to wear dark colors because of all the dry skin that found its way to my clothes. I purchased this product and have used it 3 times. The results are so encouraging for me. The back of my head doesn't feel like it is on fire and a majority of the dryness and red are leaving. I am not one to write reviews but if this helps anyone else I want to encourage them to try this product.

I had been having a "smelly hair" problem for some time, which is likely the result of bacteria/fungus living on the scalp. I have no idea as to how I came to have it, as I shampoo frequently, do not share pillows/brushes/towels, and do not have dandruff or an oily scalp. One day, the odor was just there.I tried every recommended 'natural' concoction imaginable, which included using lemon juice, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, and a host of other things. At someone's recommendation, I even tried Dial's Antibacterial Body Wash (with Tryclosan, which is supposed to kill bacteria/fungus). It didn't work. My scalp and hair still had a funky odor. I began to wonder if it even was bacterial.An excellent recommendation was Head and Shoulders' "Citrus Breeze," which I lathered up and left on my scalp and hair for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. It made a *HUGE* difference in the odor level, especially when I towel-dried my scalp and hair very well afterwards and then blow-dried it. I came to realize that NOT blow-drying my scalp and hair was a contributing factor to the odor because bacteria/fungus thrive in warmth and moisture.Just prior to trying the H&S Citrus Breeze, I ordered this Anti-Fungal Scalp Treatment kit. Though it arrived after the odor appeared to be gone, I shampooed with it just to be double-sure I was destroying all the bacteria/fungus. After all, this is specifically an "anti-fungal shampoo." I shampooed with it 3-4 times and I realize that it doesn't work any better (or worse) than Head and Shoulders Citrus Breeze, and despite all its "Extreme Moisture," it left my hair feeling dry and beat up after just a few shampoos. So, for my purposes of Smelly Hair (lol), I rate this kit only 2 stars because while it might destroy fungus, I learned three things: 1. A dry scalp is essential to eliminating bacteria/fungus and a dry scalp is free; 2. There is a much cheaper remedy out there, and 3. This product is just a bit harsh. I don't see any reason to continue to use the rest of it. Also, it comes with Emu Oil and no instructions as to what to do with it. I'm sure I can google that, but shouldn't it come with the bottle?

I had been itchy scalp with a strange coating on my scalp. I’d been in the hospital for 2 months post stroke, and wound up being discharged with skin and scalp issues. My PC said it looks like I picked up fungal infections while in the hospital and have taken meds he gave me but they didn’t do much. This shampoo and conditioner are gentle, yet really cleanse the scalp when you use a gentle massage and your hair looks fantastic once it’s dry. I can’t believe it worked so well!

Was about to use it but for my surprise it was already open now am thinking about using it since it came open don't know why..my conditioner was close it was just the Shampoo. Dissappointed. Now I won't know if this does work. It was for my son. Thanks for the open Shampoo.3-24-22 update..Not working at all! No change on my brother fungus. Same. Dissappointed.

This product has helped with a few bald spots my daughter had. It really cleans the hair and scalp until we were able to get her to a dermatologist. I would totally recommend this product to anyone who has any scalps issues like dryness hot spots and irritating skin. It even helped with dandruff and stopped the itching,
