Bolted right on my 70ish Honda 90. No issues -Cosmetically not perfect but functional & cheap!
Item was inexpensive, bolted right out with no issues, and worked as designed. Slight cosmetic imperfections but still the shiniest piece of chrome on my 50 year old bike.

Functional but poorly made and questionable durability.
It somewhat resembles the original 50+ year old Honda part. It functions mostly like the original. The chrome plating or grinding and polishing job is poor.The original part was obviously cast from a better mold or more attention paid to making a smooth evenly finished part. This new one looks like junk compared to an original. The rubber on the lever looks cheap and feels cheap and seem too loose on the arm. The lever fails to return to retracted position and does not extend out at the correct angle perpendicular to the bike when in operating position. The internal splines are much shallower on this part compared to the original as if they weren't cut deep enough but they seem tight on the shaft so they may function well but I question the durability as they wear. I was seriously concerned the bolt would not pass through the groove on the kick starting shaft on the motor but it fits nicely.I knew going into this it might be a draw buying basically the cheapest kick start lever I could find and choosing amazon for quick shipping. I bought this item to get my 1970 CT90 running again after repairs. My old one broke right at the rubber foot lever joint making it near impossible to start. Previous owner must have cracked it. It got me riding again and seems to function just ok, but if you compare it to an original honda part it looks inferior. Time will tell if it lasts.

Refurbished from broken
Ordered this product thinking Iโd get a new Kickstarter. Little did I know I would get one that was once broken and welded back together. It didnโt even come with the bolt to tighten it down!!!

Solid looking part, but CRAZY amount of odor from the rubber sleeve!
This part looks like it will work well. However, we were pretty blown away by the chemical rubber smell coming from the rubber sleeve on the rotating spur. Super unpleasant industrial rubber smell, and it's lasting for days, even though we unwrapped it and left it outside to outgas. I keep going to check on it, and it's still not ok to bring indoors. Ours came in an envelope with a few other unrelated items, and even the other items had to be left outside to air out.

Fits great on a '74 K5
Perfect fit and bolts right on on my 1974 K5 CT90. Looks almost the same. Footpeg does not swivel out a full 90 degrees, but it folds back to the flat possition nicely. Same leverage and cranking ability as the old OEM one. The lower bolt is 14mm instead of the OEM 10mm. No problem though because the bike's basic toolkit does have a 14mm wrench. Other reviews made me believe I would have to modify the bolt, but I didn't have to. I just ordered another one to have as a spare.
