Beautiful belt... excellent construction... thick
I don't think I've ever owned a full grain leather belt before.. truthfully, I never bothered to actually seek one out.Previously, I just bought whatever belt that I liked.. not paying any attention to whether they were "genuine leather", "Top grain leather" or "full grain leather" and frankly, I never knew the difference between the differing leathers. But this is the first belt I've bought in many years.. my last belt -- a "genuine leather" Polo (Ralph Lauren) has been my daily belt for over a decade and while it's nicely beat up with a lot of "character" (LOL) it's also held up remarkable well. But I've lost a lot of weight in the last year and after drilling 3 new holes in the belt to match my shrinking waistline, the belt end wraps to my left hip. It was definitely time for a new belt.. actually, I'm gonna need a few new belts as all my other (occasional) belts are now also too big. This time I decided to actually do some research on belts... something I've never done before cause I never thought to do so. In doing so, I discovered the differences in the types of leather & leather production used in making belts. Armed with that new found knowledge, full-grain leather was an obvious choice for me.Looking thru the Amazon belt selection and reading lots of reviews I was kinda shocked to discover how many belts listed as "full grain" on Amazon are actually NOT full grain at all. There are a lot of pissed off people who've had to return belts because of this. I didn't want to go thru that.Fortunately, I found this belt.. WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY!?! LOL (who knew such things existed anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)I assume, distributed by Main Street Forge while made by a family owned company named Relentless Brands. The belt is beautiful and .... THICK. It has weight & heft that I was looking for. Easily one of the nicest belts I've ever owned. I expect to get a couple decades wear, at least, out of this belt. And from now on.... all my belt purchases will be full grain leather!

Real one piece genuine leather belt.
I have bought belts that say leather on them that must have been "coated with leather" the way they held up, and have been so frustrated with recent purchases. Even name brands offering "leather Belt". So I looked up the definition of leather, genuine leather etc. and was amazed at what can be called leather. When I found this site it appeared to be what I was looking for. I ordered what I wanted and when the belt arrived and it is exactly what I have been wanting and trying to buy. This is the real thing. Like the ones I had when I was young that lasted forever and aged well. Thank you for making a fine product. I have already looked to see what else you offer. If ever I need or want what you have, I'm buying from you. Thank you. This is the first review I've ever written but I know there must be others as frustrated as I was, needing to find you.

Stretches BAD lol and not 1 pc?
Ordered this as my first "full grain" belt.Ordered it according to their measurements, it came in & I tried it and it fit on the 3rd hole. I could get it into the 4Th hole if I sucked it in, but 3rd hole was fine. After about 2 hours the 3rd hole was too loose, jumped to 4th hole and about 4 or 5 hours of use after that now the 5th hole fits me loose. LolThe back side either came scratched, or It scratches very easy and looks like it's ripping and does not look like it's a solid piece of leather. Mine looks like it's layers, back side has some sort of fabric? Which is what "looks like it's ripping"Really wanted to like it. But I've barely received it Tuesday July 20th, and today is July 23rd lolUPDATE: I hadn't worn the belt out until yesterday 7/27/21 and now I am up to the 6th hole. I'll probably get a return as after this I don't have any more to give and I'm not making holes lol.7 days so far. Not happyUPDATE PT 2:I brought out the measuring tape and it's stretched about 2 inches, I ordered the 38! Measured according to the seller.

Cracked dye finish
The leather seems to be of good quality, but I’m not so sure about the quality of the dye. After about a couple of months of wear (around 3 times a week) the finish looks like it’s cracked all over the place. And I’ve tried using Saphir Renovateur with Saphir Medaille D’or but it didn’t help at all. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not, but it’s just not a good look in my opinion.

Wanted to love it.
I almost loved it. They used screws instead of snaps AND overtightened them. I'm pretty hand and even 30 minutes with my hex keys couldn't get them loose. I'm likely to return it because I can't change the belt buckle.Also. They didn't bevel or burnish the edges so, over time, the edges will absorb water and dig in to one's waist. It's good looking and well made but a little more attention to detail would have made it excellent.

Nothing below the belt
Simple, full grain leather (not bonded or a composite) that I don't expect will separate, crack or tear in years to come. Good for casual to office dress use. Just slightly longer, by about 1" than what I expected, but wearable versus being too short. I chose the roller buckle style and the roller sleeve diameter is just a bit too large and noisy when not buckled. Having said that, I'd buy another when this wears out, and it's made in the USA.

A very good belt
This belt is great. It's a true leather belt, and you can tell by the feel, and by the sound. Real leather will "squeak" when you bend it, and for the first few days, my belt was doing a lot of talking. It looks great, feels great, works at keeping my pants up, and I may buy a second one for my dress pants.***A hint of warning. I originally purchased this so I can put on my own belt buckle. The belt has two hex-screws that need to undo to replace buckles, but be WARNED... they use a bit of adhesive to join screw and bolt. While they do advise of this, it will take some work to get them out (and a proper pair of pliers). If you are not going to change your buckle, you can rest assured that you belt isn't going anywhere. After I changed the buckle, and rescrewed it back together, it still felt incredibly tight and secure. This is a very good leather belt. Highly recommended.
