Impossible. NOT anymore. This shoe is IT!!!! I did have to return my normal size and get a half size up. Since I normally get a half size up in tennis shoes (wear socks) I wasn't too bothered.***8 months later**** wish I'd stuck with original (correct) size. They got looser with wearing. They also started falling apart after 7 months of wearing 6 out of 7 days a week. Enjoyed them while they lasted - just wish they didn't have such flimsy elements inside. I wear these almost daily, all day. I have 2 boys and I'm always running around. I searched and searched for a pair of cute ballet flats that had decent arch support. While the support isn't as great as tennis shoes, it is quite substantial for this style. If you do need extra arch support, the insoles come out really easily and you can put your own in (which I do sometimes if my knee is hurting). They look great with jeans, skirts, shorts, or dresses. The dark brown color is perfect, and the shoe feels comfortable. The problem is the sizing. I am between 7.5 and 8, took the advice of majority of reviewers and ordered up to 39 EU. Mistake.The shoe is too big. Even with the straps, it won't stay on.
