I bought two of these, one for alongside my comfortable recliner in front of the TV, and one for the bedroom. I don't use it every day, but when I do: it works, and keeps me from unintentionally snoring, or having dry-mouth after a night of sleep. But, if your nasal passages are plugged-up (you have a cold) it probably won't be useful if your mouth is all that is 'clear & open' for breathing. This is a tight elastic strap, so it is possible to open one's mouth if you need to talk. You can adjust tightness of the fit with the velcro strap. Decent price for a good product. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor design *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019* I have worn chin straps for years and this one is perhaps the second worst, if not the worst ever. I also use a CPAP.The area that fits over the chin does not shape itself to the chin and therefore slips off during the night and loses effectiveness. This area is overly wide and just sticks straight forward, providing no support and doing nothing but catching on the nightclothes until it is worked loose.The slots for the ears are too small to afford comfort and get smaller when the strap is tightened. If the strap is placed over the back of the crown of the head and over the chin, the ear holes disappear and the strap chafes the ears all night. If the strap is placed over the chin and the ear holes over the ears, the top of the strap is too far forward to stay on the head overnight.I cannot for the life of me understand where all the positive reviews came from unless they apply to a previous design of the product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Well made, but not for me *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2019* I gave this strap 4 stars only because it is not appropriate for me personally. The chin strap has two openings for your ears. My ears are particularly sensitive to pressure. The openings for one’s ears are just too small, restricting, & put too much pressure on my ears.
