Amazon Basics Apricot Scrub Facial Cleanser, 6 Ounce (Previously Solimo)

I have been using this product for over 30 years and have always loved it…I have tried $100 products and none work as good or better than Ives facial exfoliation…the price is also great!

This was my first time buying this and it works as well as higher price face scrubs. It works well for me to wash my face and take makeup off

I wanted to like this so much, especially because the St. Ives Apricot Scrub is four times the price. This exfoliates well, but I don't like the smell at all. I'm trying to get used to it, but I've had it since the Fall and I can't wait to finish this product so I can get something else. Sorry. If you can get past the odor it's quite a bargain.

This is good and takes off the makeup. It exfoliates well. Nice texture for a scrub. I'll definitely keep using this brand as the price is right too.

I want to say that I have mixed feelings about putting this on my face but that would be a total understatement.To give you a little insight, I’ve been using the Kylie Skin walnut face scrub since May of last year. I used the walnut face scrub once a day, 3-4 times a week and I’m still in love with it. However, I was looking for a more budget-friendly alternative and I gave this one a try. What I love is, it does everything my other walnut face scrub did but it doesn’t make my skin feel stripped or dry (the Kylie skin did a little bit). It checked all my boxes in regard to why I bought the product!HOWEVER—upon my first time using it, I squeezed a bit of the scrub onto my hand and I was hit with this overwhelming scent of straight vomit. I couldn’t even believe it, I literally had to keep smelling it and it definitely smelled like something I’ve thrown up before. I did debate whether or not I should even put it on my face but, for whatever reason, I was feeling optimistic and lathered it into my pores and I LOVED it. It does NOT leave that smell lingering on my face. That would be the definite dealbreaker for me. But as you rub it in the smell goes away. I also use a multitude of other products after that one, so any excess gets wiped away.I’m telling myself that naturally made products don’t typically have scents because those scents are often artificially created using harsh chemicals that can be harmful to your skin. So maybe the use of more earthy, organic ingredients is causing the scent?? Maybe it’s just me? Maybe I should stop using it???! I dunno, anywho, my skin feels great, the scrub works great and it smells like barf. Do with that, what you will. Lol
