Nestle - KitKat Dark Chocolate Flavor, 5.5 Oz Bag

My favorite asian grocery store had one last package of these on sale during the holidays...I snagged it and it was love at first bite. These are a very nice dark choc. candy that is supremely better than any other dark chocolate I have tasted from a mainstream grocery store or mini-mart. In my opinion there isn't anything to compare it too. Obviously its not going to be as good as expensive boutique chocolate but still a very nice and less expensive alternative =)The bag I received held 13 individually wrapped candies. To an American these are like mini or fun-size pieces...the two small adjoined kit kat pieces inside are approximately 2 inches long.These are coming from Japan so don't expect them to arrive super fast, though you may get a little lucky like me and get them a week ahead of the estimated shipping time. For reference I ordered mine Dec 18 and they arrived 1/6 in a white mailing envelope. It should go without saying it is chocolate, so if you are ordering when the weather is hot there's a chance they may arrive melted.***I have ordered these several times now but I only order when the weather is cool and have had no issues thus far receiving melted/irregular shaped kit kats*** I found a dark chocolate kit kat in a big chain grocery store but didn't care for it, as the American version tastes overly sweet in contrast to this version.

A cookie or candy by one name is one of the same. Probably not when it comes to a Kit Kat bar that many have grown accustomed to breaking a piece and taking a bite. There is a difference between the average bar sold in the United States versus its international counterparts, such as Japan and Nestle’s Nestle-Kitkat Otona Bag of Cookies Snack Bag that comes in a variety of choices from strawberry, green tea, white chocolate, or the selection that I tried dark chocolate.Specifically, the Otona cookies have two major differences when first biting into the small sized bars. One, the creamy chocolate and two, one will definitely taste the cookie in the bar and a bit of crunchiness too. This is a highly recommended snack if one is seeking a bit of sweetness in their day that finally blends a candy bar and a cookie.

Kit Kat has become my favorite chocolate bar candy, and it’s these specific dark chocolate ones that’ll be the reason why I say that. They’re not as sweet as regular KitKats, and they’re mini. I just really like how their wrappers are black too lol. They also shipped incredibly fast and arrived in perfect condition. 10/10 will be buying again when my current stock runs low.

The package is very wrinkled and looks old, though the expiration date is later this year. Chocolates obviously melted before and reset. Bad mouth feel. It is not the fault of the manufacturer, but the poor storage of the seller.

Delicious!! Some of the best chocolate I've tasted and its on a delicious Kit Kat. I would give the product 5 stars for taste but everything was melted when I received it. I live in Florida so it is possible that they melted in our mailbox here in the Florida heat. Because of this I've had to lick the chocolate off the inside of the wrapper. These are delicious but if you live in a hot climate there is a good chance they will arrive melted.

I'm a big fan of dark chocolate, but this blew my mind. Even my friends who hated dark chocolate loved this delicacy. It has a subtly sweet flavor with a slightly bitter taste, and a savory crispy crunch that's addicting and makes you want more. A reasonable price for the amount of mini packages in one bag with two Kit Kats includedin each mini packages. I also recieved each order and reorder ontime. It took about a week or two before I could indulge. I wouldrecommend the Dark Chocolate Kit Kat to everyone and anyone.

Excellent product. There is just something special with Japanese KitKats. Exotic flavors are the best. The dark chocolate was great. Product arrived in excellent condition. I waited until the weather was colder so problems with melting or staleness.

These may not be as unusual as a lot of the Japanese Kit Kats, but they're still really good. Mine were very fresh and delicious on arrival. Great dark chocolate taste with bitterness but not too much. My husband is more familiar with Japanese chocolate and says this is really typical of other chocolates he's tasted from Japan. I like these a lot and since they're far less expensive than some of the other unique flavors from abroad, don't miss 'em.
