great product
Bought one a couple of years ago. Sold the house it was in, so had to buy another. Was extremely pleased with first one, am so far pleased with this one. Easy install, filters last as suggested in listing. We have water with a fair bit of sediment and rust so the sediment filter needs replacing every two or three months but the charcoal lasts a year. I highly recommend this product.

Hydraulic Jeans for Girls 7-16 leak under pressure!
Seems to work fine, but I just bought it. The white filter seems to be grabbing a lot of algae from the barrels I am using. It seems to be supporting the algae to grow, though I can't be sure at this point. At the very least it's getting dirty fast. I'm not using the cleanest barrels though. The canisters seem to leak water under higher pressure, but I don't have a pressure gauge so I don't know what the pressure at that time. I haven't seen it leak in a few uses. The category this item is under is "Hydraulic Jeans Girls 7-16".....

Best Water Filter You Can Buy
This is the best water filter money can buy, you can also get the small boy to RO stealth upgrade kit. My ppm levels were 480-490 before the filter, I then hooked up the small boy and it brought down my ppm levels to 190 and then when I ran the RO upgrade I am now getting 17 ppm I’m very impressed with this filter. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a good water filter that is made to last.

Not a RO machine..plus tips for extending filter life
Great filter, but it will NOT give you 0ppm RO water. It is only a dechlorinator and sediment filter machine, but it can easily be converted to a RO machine with the small boy stealth RO conversion kit ($90). Watch hydrologic YouTube videos on how to convert the machine, it takes like 3 min to do ir- super easy...5 stars tho, hydrologic is the best out there. I use h202 (15-30 percent, not the brown bottle from walmart) mixed with water to clean my white sediment filters (algae). Just leave the filter in there for a few days. I also recommend the $15 membrane flush adapter to make you're filters last longer.

Small, cheap, and great quality
This small filter system is great. It's super easy to set up and is very standard. I'm really liking it and can definitely tell the difference in the water quality after running it through the system. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Works well, good filtration rate
I would say that the advertised gallon/minute filtration rate is accurate based on my experience. I use it for both plants and for drinking water since our city switched to a chloramine based water sanitation system. You can taste the difference in the water. If you drink a lot of filtered water and/or use it for a small garden or houseplants, it is a far superior investment to a Brita or Pur system.

Nice
Does around 60 gallons an hour, really nice unit. Great for filling a res swiftly for hydroponics, and drinking water. Came with FEMALE garden hose attachment for connecting to threaded wash tubs, or if you don't have it the water hose faucet outside your home will work if you're in a pinch. The only thing that sort of took me off guard is pulling off the red and blue temporary inserts on each side of the unit. Just ready the instructions on how to remove the little hoses in the manual on how to do it safely, personally I just pulled them off (takes some effort which makes you think you're doing something wrong).

Bad product and terrible customer service
After installing this unit and following the instructions to run water through it for 5 minutes to prepare it for use I tested the pH coming out of it since I care about that. The pH going in is a perfect 7.0 but the pH coming out was 8.5+. I ran more water through it for an additional 10 minutes and did the same test and got the same result. I contacted their customer service and their agent suggested running water through it for another 10 minutes or so since, he said fine carbon particles that need to be cleared are causing the pH to be so high. I ran water through it for 10 minutes at a time several times, with the final time being over an hour of running water throught it and the pH was still reading 8.5!I wrote to them explaining the issue and asked for a refund since this renders their product useless to me. Well, I guess they don't want to help any further or offer a refund since I have not been able to get them respond any further.
