Great, light, strong, sensitive, and packable.
I love this rod. It's just a good rod. A bit pricey for my usual budget, but I'm glad I bought this. The length is perfect for most of my needs, it feels good whether I'm casting tiny beetle spins or weightless 4" senkos, or whether i'm chunking heavy popping cork rigs with multiple jig heads and shrimp, etc. It is not a cat fishing rod, not designed for chunking 4oz of weight at full power, but it can still cast fairly heavy things a moderate distance when using a little sense in handling the rod.It is very light and comfy in hand, very agile for the length, and very nice to cast. It has a great action for all-around fishing needs, especially for bass and smaller saltwater fish. It won't be the best for landing 50-lb catfish every day, but you stand a fair chance of doing it a few times without hurting the rod if you're careful.I particularly like using this rod with artificial lures. Beetle spins, DOA shrimp, spinnerbaits, top water frogs, Texas rigs, and jigs are all easier to work when I use them with this rod. But other bait rigs also work very well with this.Having this as a 2-piece rod makes it easy to store. I kept the shipping tube which the rod came in and I use it to transport two rods back and forth from fishing trips to protect them. It works great. I don't feel any lack of sensitivity or performance due to the two piece design. There isn't much to complain about here. Some may consider it just a bit light for the MH/F label, but not light enough to be demoted to medium. It is not a broomstick, but also not flimsy. It shouldn't be a problem to bank flip a decent fish with it. I've lifted small flounder, etc with it and never worried a bit about the rod.I'll just say it... This rod has the nicest butt i've seen on a rod. The length of the butt is just right on this rod. It feels natural to use. The grips are cool, but as a golfer, I must say these are NOT golf club grips. They feel like soft EVA grips with a thin rubbery-plasticy skin over them with a golf club handle-like pattern designed into it. They don't feel bad. In fact, i like them, but it's just not accurate to call them golf club grips. And lastly, I don't notice any profound difference in casting with the fancy eyelets, but that means they don't detract from my experience at all, so they must be good enough. All in all, I recommend this rod for anyone looking for a really high quality 2-piece rod if you have the money. I also recommend Cadence rods and Kalex rods for decent cheaper options as well. You don't need rods this fancy, but it's nice.

Awesome 6' ultralight rod, looks good too!
KastKing has never disappointed; I own three of their reels and a nice pair of gloves, have used their monofilament line (excellent product, is now my go-to), and now own this rod. The closest rod in my lineup that I can compare to is a St Croix Premier Ultralight 6'6".The KastKing Resolute 6' Ultra Light is a well-built rod with great balance. The guides are straight and of good quality, the finish of the rod is excellent. I wanted the 6'6", but it was not available. The action on the KastKing is not as fast as the St. Croix, but that is to be expected on the shorter rod. I'd say the finish on the St. Croix is slightly better, but it also has 2.5x's the price tag.The St. Croix is 2.8 oz to this rod's 3.45- both rods are extremely light and well-balanced.I think the reel seat on the KastKing edges out that of the Premier; it has a comfortable grip and it holds the reel quite snugly. I coupled this with the Pflueger President XT-20. It casts SO smoothly! My son commented that he could not even hear my casts- this rod feeds line like butter and the reel was a good compliment.I caught a bluegill on my first cast, which is always a great sign- the rod sensitivity is superb. This is a fun panfish setup. I gave four stars for durability, but will update one way or another as I see how it ages. The build-quality looks great, so I expect it to be as durable as everything else I have enjoyed from KastKing! Between the price and quality, KastKing is the right choice. They do not take shortcuts. Even the shipping tube is superior to most competitors.

It gets the job done!
Boat poor, if you own one you know, I didn't have the budget to outfit my tackle in the equipment I really wanted. I started looking for options. I tried some other <$100 rods, big name USA brands, but was disappointed in the performance and quality. I decided to give KastKing a shot because of the price point. My first was a Pedigree II, which I highly recommend. I decided to try the Resolute in the MH 6'6" 2 piece spinning. My use is jigging for walleye in the Detroit River and surrounding water. It gets the job done.-Great Value-Durable, handles snags other rods would snap under-Plays large fish nicely, good tension through the rod, a and well positioned eyes-Sensitive enough for tapping the bottom with with 3/4 and 1 oz jigs and detecting bite-A little softer than I expected for a MH though. I expected a little more stiffness. (I also have a Medium, and the MH is better but not significantly stiffer).-Good reel seat, probably the best in the price point-Horrible hook keeper placement at the very bottom of the handle. What were they thinking? It may be fine for single hooked lures, but not for baits with multiple trebles or jigs with stinger hooks. It creates problems storing rods in boat rod boxes, transporting them, even handling them. Easy to get hooks in upholstery, clothing, and hands.-Line guides are kind of funky, but work well. Supposedly improve casting. I don't know.I bought one to try and have purchased two more since. The Pedigree II is a more traditional rod (standard line guides and better hook keeper placement) with an IM6 blank. The Resolute has a nicer reel seat and the IM7 rod blank. I have tortured mine on snags in my 18+ foot boot in the current of the Detroit River and have not yet found the breaking point. At this price I don't worry about newbies or guests using these and breaking them like I would a $150-250 rod. It's probably a 5-star for the price. It is a solid value.

Super rod
It's lightweight but durable, and didn't give any problems during my last saltwater fishing trip. I got great casting distance. It's got a fast tip and plenty of backbone for those large redfish. The guides are on the small side, so if you tie a fluorocarbon leader to your braid keep the knots small with no tag ends sticking out, as they will hang on the cast. All in all a great rod.
