Works for the most part
These traps work and we collected many yellowjackets. However, like many of the reviews, they collect a lot of bees at first and then slow down or stop after about 4-5 days. We had to then refill the top with some vinegar water and put some raw chicken on the bottom to keep attracting them. I think to get the best use, rather than the every 2 weeks they say to refill, you need to tend to them about the 6th day and refill. I do recommend these, but just be aware they do not work consistently for the 2 weeks. Need refilling before that.

Waste of money
Waste of money for something you can’t return for your money back. I purchased this, along with many other wasp traps types, including other ‘Rescue’ company items and these are the most disappointing. My mother is deathly allergic to wasps, at her age and after last years hospital visit for a sting she was told 1 more and it’s over. So I’m not playing. I purchased $200 worth of traps this year and surrounded her yard, they have the whole world to fly too but are drawn to her lawn. These are the most expensive traps. These claim to attract all these types of wasps- but after having two of them up for over 2 weeks not a single wasp in either! They fly right past! Seriously, I have 1 hung above a yellow jacket hole and they don’t even bother with it. These got 3 different types of stinky attraction liquid you have to use in it, which is not pleasant, and still they fly past. This is advertised as like the Cadillac of wasp traps but it’s horrible. If I only got 1 trap then maybe it had 3 attractants that were defective, but 2 traps both with 3 attractants and nothing? All my other traps have wasps, including the ones I least expected- ‘Rescue’ glue style. I’m including pictures. They were both filled same way and time, and are in places with same amount of sun/shade mix- however 1 has been decreasing in fluid somehow. I’m assuming a crack or leak in plastic, as I prefaced they are both in shade ruling out evaporation.I also bought the expensive additional wasp attraction bait from ‘Rescue’, wasps are not lured to this and it’s trash. I make my own traps with an empty water/soda bottle, small stick, apple juice and boric acid- mine are better than any multi million dollar company all day long. My method also kills the nest when they take boric juice mix back to the hive. I didn’t want just my traps in the yard, even though they are superior and money saving, if she’s stung my family may blame me for not getting ‘store brand’ stuff they think is ‘real’ so I went all out this year and will every year from now on for mom. I’m so concerned I’m not doing everything I can to protect my mom so I bought all these store brand traps too, and honestly they are just eye sores in her yard.Yellow jacks, and white face all around her house and Rescue claimed to target them specifically with these stinky scientific lures, which is why I got them… nope. Those species are too smart for the glue traps, they only catch the generic less aggressive wasps, not the big dogs.Again the Rescue glue traps, see my pic, has actually got a couple wasps but not these Why traps. More like Why did I buy this junk. If someone from the company is reading this- I’d like my money back. Not returning to Amazon what are essentially empty plastic bottles covered in stinky ‘wasp pheromones’ or whatever this junk is…

Extremely effective
Expensive to keep re-baiting but boy do they work! We have problems on our property, they love it here and last year I was stung a couple times a week minding my own business. I started with these traps early on and it greatly reduced the problem. I will use these again next year for sure. They are very effective.

Works well if you put your own sugar water and apple cider vinegar into it.
The stuff they include for attracting insects doesn’t work well. So I use sugar water and apple cider vinegar to refill mine. Lots of flies and yellow jackets. I gave it a 4 star because it works well, but the included insect attractant didn’t work well. I like this enough that I bought several more.

Not as effective as the sticky type. But the reusability is nice if not cumbersome to resetup.
They work ok. I like the reusability of these traps but resetting them up with new liquids and scents is a little cumbersome. I like the sticky type better as they are easier to setup and seem to trap more wasps than this type does. However, the sticky type of trap is not reusable and overall can get more expensive than this type.

These didn't work for me at all.
We recently started seeing yellow jackets around the front of our house and they got hold of my son one day and stung him three times. Obviously I wanted to adress the issue, so I bought these in the hopes that it would help.I put these traps out the day that I got them, which was September 23rd. It is now October 7th and I have caught one single yellow jacket. I followed the instructions, which were very clear and easy. I also placed the two traps according to what the instructions recommended and I have not had any luck. After the first week, I thought maybe I'd done something wrong because one trap had the single yellow jacket and the other didn't have anything, so I emptied it out and replaced the pad and liquid with some sweet stuff in the hopes that it would maybe this would attract them. It did not.My two pictures are from the day of my review and as you can see, I still haven't caught anything else. The yellow jackets are still very much active around the front of the house. We've honestly had better luck taking a vacuum to the areas they are hanging around at and catching them that way than we've had with these traps. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but these haven't worked at all. So unless someone has tips to help make these more effective and I can update my review, this is where I stand.

Unbelievable catching power
These caught so many wasp (of different species) on the 1st day. They work best in full-sun close to you wasp activity.UPDATE- Had traps up for 2 weeks. Wasp activity slowed way down, very impressed with what they caught!
