Bobby Garland Stroll'R Soft Plastic Crappie Fishing Lure, 2.5 Inches, Pack of 12

I was fishing from a roadway at a cooling lake, on a warm day in the winter. I was using normal curly tail baits and tube jigs for Crappie. I was not catching very many. A guy came from my right that was catching Crappie left and right. He went around me and continued to catch Crappie for the next two hours just keeping bigger fish as he fished on down the bank. Now, I am not used to being on the short end of the stick, so I had to see what he was using. These look somewhat like curly tails, but are built quite different. The way they are made must give them action at a slower speed as he was retrieving very slowly. I now have gobs of these in black and Chartreuse, and Electric Chicken. I caught a lot of fish on both colors in the Spring of 2017 during the spawn, including Saugeye. I can't wait to try them in the winter off that road.
