This Unit is so much quieter than our Jabsco electric toilet and clears the bowl significantly faster than the jabsco, also a lot less expensive and a lot of the parts seem to be higher quality. Installation was a bit of a challenge due to the existing hoses on the boat, had to grind the fitting a bit.

We had a previous TMC Ocean Five Electrical Head - the bigger model...we were overall satisfied by that purchase. This head last 7 years and with change the macerator once. When came the time to change again a new macerator...we are liveaboard in saltwater..We decided to instead order a new one. The same model was not in the inventory at the time...i supposed.. and i didn't realize until we receive it that it was the smaller model. It has been a year and we have to change the electrical switch every 4 months..and buying 2 and more each time. Just in case. Since the 1st month..we install 8 differents switches all ordered from the manufacturer...which call was not called "MOMENTARILY electrical switch but it is now. At some point TMC OCEAN FIVE promised us by email to send a new complete toilet.. which never arrived of course. Now they are stating that their electrical MOMENTARILY switch is. not at fault .... which it is in reality because the toilet was working while bypassing the switch. If you check their new model an AMAZON CHOICE by the way, is proposed with another type of electrical switch. We gave them all the opportunities to correct this nightmarish daily problem and they didn't take it. WE ARE DONE WITH TMC OCEAN FIVE BARON.. Maybe you should do the same... boater to boater. WE ARE TRYING TO GET A REPLACEMENT OR A REFUND. IT IS A JOKE!!!

Easy to install. Discharge off of macerator can be installed out the back or the side (good feature). Timely delivery in perfect condition. Seat a little thin and lower quality feeling but otherwise very satisfied.

I have replaced Jabsco motors, pumps & parts many times all not lasting very long (like a total of only 1 hour running time) + they are very expensive considering they do not last. This is my 1st Five Oceans & so far it runs good, removes waste quickly, and I'm very pleased. I plan on ordering another in about 2 months (after testing this one). (I have another Jabsco that is not running in my forward berth)T.E.Forest, Va

flushes fine, but water wont stop running so we have to add water before each flush...

I'm getting a little frustrated with this product. It works okay for about a year with routine maintenance and cleaning but now has started to leak out the bottom the standing water in the toilet. It is to be expected that overtime parts will need to be replaced. Just a simple seal on the motor shaft. I have contacted five oceans directly and they have told me that I have to buy the whole hundred and $180 electric conversion kit. Why would you sell a toilet for sale boats that you cannot buy parts for. Once again I understand that seals go out but if you can't buy the replacement parts it's just a disposable toilet that last about a year. If I would have known this I would have gladly spent the extra hundred to get a name brand toilet. If anybody knows what parts might cross over from other brands it would be really helpful or the five oceans is a knock off of another brand that I could get parts for that would be great as well. Otherwise I will just buy a different brand toilet that I will be able to maintain in the future.

Awesome toilet! Bought two for our houseboat. Easy to install. They do sit low so be prepared to make a base for toilet so it sits higher. We are very happy with these toilets!

Toilet is loude and cannot be connected to pressurized water but does work well
