I have been using this pipe and drape set as a backdrop for live comedy shows for the past 2 years. This simple addition transforms a s***ty amateur bar show into a very professional looking amateur bar show. It disguises whatever clutter and distraction is behind the stage while evenly and perfectly capturing a spotlight. The result is a clean and professional looking show where the focus is on the performer. Prior to purchasing this set up I used to rent a pipe and drape from a local rental and would pay roughly $40-50 per show to have this. Even putting on shows infrequently this cost adds up and was quite frankly a pain in the ass. I purchased this pipe and drape for under $200 and within 5 shows it had paid for itself. I've since done countless shows and have gotten incredible value out of it. It has been used at friend's weddings as a picture background and at trade shows and other live events. It is incredibly versatile, durable, and long lasting. It's simple to set up and break down. Once broken down all the pieces will fit conveniently into any speaker stand/music stand tote. You'll just need to carry the floor stands separate. The curtains (3 panels) are well made. They've never ripped or even wrinkled, and they're dark enough to black out whatever is behind them. You can easily hang signs and banners from the top/cross pole to display sponsors, advertisements, etc. I'm writing this review now, years later, because I need to buy another one of these to accommodate more live events. My original is still going strong!

Only used once but very happy with my purchase. Seems very solid and I put it up in a few mins. Tear down was even faster. Curtains are sturdy and feel like quality materials.

Ordered this product on a Tuesday and opted for the expedited shipping because I needed it for a wedding the following Saturday. Contacted the seller and to ensure I would have it by Saturday to which the responded immediately and assured that I would have it by Friday and they were correct. The stand itself is great, very easy to setup and surprisingly sturdy. Can adjust to various widths easily but the height is fixed at approximately 8ft. My only complaint is that I ordered the black backdrop to go with the stand and the material is super thin. So if there are any lights behind the setup they will show up in your photos. If you have it against a wall it's no problem but if not be prepared to use another fabric to block out backlighting. Overall the stand and seller are great but if you have other backdrop options I would recommend that over the one you can order with the stand.

I just opened a budget minded micro wedding venue and this will be perfect for the unity sand or candle ritual during a wedding ceremony!

Good product. Purchase weights for more stability in high traffic areas or outdoors, but indoors and away from traffic you will have no issues with this backdrop.

All the parts are there and engineering well thought out. Great for home skits or room divider.

Not 2.4m high, does not fit under an 8ft ceiling as stated!. Bought this as it would fit under an 8 ft ceiling, why deceive people?. Was for an event, no time to replace now so money wasted!.
