Just Buy It
One of the most significant purchases I've made in years...as an older ex-athlete sometimes my joints can be a bit tight. This eliminates the need to crouch down, sit down, or lift my leg up in order to get my shoes on. Works great and easy to use. Has good weight and feels extremely durable. Not sure why I am just not realizing this thing existed...

Just right
I’m 5’ 11”, and this one is the perfect length for me, and I love the sturdiness. I broke my plastic one.

If you're tall this is for you
Purchased a shorter one before, excellent, but decided a longer one would be better and it is, very happy, given durability I now have two to leave to my grand kids.

Waited a while to do a review.
I waited a while to do a review. Love 5 star reviews and the buyer says its still in the box??? Anyway, Having had knee and hip replacement on the same leg, getting it folded up enough to put shoes on is tough. Especially being 6'2'. Problem solved. I was a little leery that this shoe horn would be flimsy metal. Not the case AT ALL. Very stout and well made. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a longer shoe horn.

Super heavy duty.
I ordered the long handle due to having back surgery and not able to bend well. This is by far the best shoe horn I have ever had. I can put on my non leather shoes ( similar to sneakers ) with no problem this show horn keeps the backs up nice so my foot slips right in. p.s. it's strong enough to use as a self defense weapon if necessary.

the right size for me
I am 5'10" tall and this shoehorn is perfect for me so that I no longer need to bend down to put on shoes. If you are getting older, and your knees are not what they used to be, just get this item. Just be aware that it is a sturdy product, and with sturdiness, comes weight. It's not flexible, and frankly, you don't really want it that way anyway; it's a hunk of metal that just works perfectly for getting your feet into shoes. I gave it 5 starts for sturdiness, 5 stars for ease of use as it doesn't flex around making it awkward to use. I did not leave any stars for durability as I have only had it a couple of weeks, but I suspect it will last many years. You'd really have to go out of your way to bend or break it...sitting on it would do the trick. If you treat all tools well and look after them, they should last well.

Just.... WOW!
I know... It's only a shoehorn, but....This thing is frigging awesome. I've worn out or broke so many over the years.... (Cheap extendable ones... The ones with springs... plastic ones...)This thing is friggin' awesome. It is long enough to make putting your shoes on absolutely effortless. It is strong and sturdy enough that there not much you could ever do to it to cause it harm (unintentionally). And it hangs up at the door on anything available so it's there to use.If you need a new shoehorn.... THIS is the one. It costs a bit more than some, but I know without a doubt that this is the LAST shoehorn that I will ever buy.

The biggest one I could find.
Due to an injury I have been using a Shoe Horn for a few Months now. My Folks have a 2 foot long metal one which is pretty good. While using it though I thought that if this was longer it would be even better. So my search the longest Shoe Horn I could find was one. With everyone getting older I figured every household could do with a super long metal shoe horn. So I picked up several to give for Christmas Presents this year. It is something that everyone could use, or people who visit them could use but most people would just never buy for themselves. That is what makes it the perfect Christmas Present.

not heavy duty. It is HEAVY HEAVY duty!
I bought the longer version, and the shorter version, and told my son to take his pick of one of the two. He chose the longer. I'm just as happy with the shorter. But that is not the point... these things are seriously heavy duty. Thick, strong steal that will not bend as you put on boots. Great for shoes too. The hole for hanging on a hook - I'm grad that they pre-drilled that. You'd have a hard time drilling through this stuff, it is that thick!Absolutely love it!

Third one I bought
I keep this on a hook at front door. Everyone who visits comments on this and wish they had one this study and long enough that they’re not folded over putting their shoes in. This is the third one I bought…the other two were gifts. I now see this at their front doors. It is better than plastic.
