I had a hip replacement and this worked very well when coupled to my Briggs Polar Care unit. I just added water at the beginning to the unit and every 6- 8 hours changed out 4 frozen water bottles. It pumped cold water through the device and was easy to hold in place with the Velcro elastic straps that came with it.

Great product, used on two hip replacements and one shoulder arthroscopy and a shoulder rebuild in the future. Just a great icing process with sports injuries as well. Well worth the money spent. This is my second pad purchase as a back up.

Horrible product! Leaked as soon I plugged it in. Then I found out it was not returnable! I am a disabled veteran who cannot afford to waste $54.00+ on a useless product. I have hip replacement surgery in two days and needed this and now have no time to procure a replacement. This is not fair for this product to not be returnable. This slows the manufacturer to produce low quality products that can’t be returned for being defective. This is also a bad reflection on Amazon who sell this garbage. I will cease buying medical products from Amazon as they cannot be trusted to provide quality products or to back them up.

Bought this pad following hip surgery to replace the universal pad that comes with breg polar cube. It works well and provides more coverage of the hip than the universal pad. No complaints with quality or performance of the product.

I just had my hip replaced. I am using the ossur ice compression machine and just purchased the cold rush up pad for the right side. This pad works well and provided my hip with the best icing when compared to the cold packs I bought. The machine allows for a more consistent temperature and the water being constantly pumped into the pad allows for the best coverage since the pack doesn’t melt and get pushed to the side. The pad is large enough to ice my hip. My only complaints about the pad are I wish it was a little bit larger and that the ends connected with the middle. I also wish that he smaller strap was a little larger. I had an extra strap and the extra strap worked much better. A tip for the ossur machine. Freeze smaller water bottles and cool whip containers for ice or smaller tupper ware containers to help keep the machine run cooler for longer.

I used the product for a rotator cuff surgery. It was great. The pad fit good and was cold.My wife purchased the right hip pad and it did not get uniform cold on all 3 pieces and was not easy to attach.5 stars for shoulder pads and 2 stars max for right hip pad. the ice machine worked well
