Very Fine View of the 700
A fine value for your dollars ,with clear writing and useful detail on the development of the iconic Remington 700. One wishes for more details on the USMC M40 versions, which could be a book in itself.

Less than I expected
I found no new information, it was inexpensive to buy but I don't think I will buy another one. Not recommended for any one with twenty years of experience, newbies only.

No, not really......
Tuning manual? Do some little clean up on a wooden stock. Bed it. Or buy a good synthetic stock. Clean and adjust trigger, make sure chamber is smooth and crown is clean, sharp and even. Get a good scope and rings and make sure all is tight. Have the right reticle for the job. For handloading, you can learn all from manuals you will need anyway. There you go. You don't need to buy this manual. I just told you what's in it. All of it plus way way more is available online.......free.

Very much for beginners
I feel that this may be a good read for someone who has absolutely no knowledge of the Remington 700. Any one that does won’t really gain anything from reading this book, the information is very basic ( in my opinion ). I got the feeling that someone wanted to write a book, so they did. I encountered numerous errors in the book which gave the impression that this was slapped together and sent to print.
