Faith, Hope and Healing: Inspiring Lessons Learned from People Living with Cancer Paperback – March 16, 2009

This book is a must read for anyone battling cancer or any serious disease or illness. Dr. Siegel has written several excellent books about the power of faith, love and attitude on the healing process. He gives practical, uplifting information on how the healing process works and includes many real-life examples of people who have healed themselves or have learned to live peacefully, and even joyfully, with a disease or debilitating condition.

I have been a devoted follower of Dr. Siegel for over 20 years now. I have purchased numerous copies of "Love, Medicine and Miracles" to share with friends of mine going through tough times. He has managed to provide even more insight and hope with "Faith, Hope and Healing". Dr. Siegel is truly an original and provides hope and healing in a hurting world.

This is a great book for putting your arms around a diagnosis of cancer and how to deal with it. A positive attitude and hope is crucial to getting better. Faith takes some of the burden of fear and angst away. Good read. Bernie Siegel does a terrific job helping one learn to cope with this diagnosis.

Great book for anyone going thru cancer. Uplifting and positive and informative.

This is so very helpful. It was suggested by a professional in the health-care field, and it has lived up to her recommendations. I have suggested it to others. It is not only for cancer folks.

While there are many inspiring stories from cancer survivors, and I have no doubt that visualization helped these people, I found the author's pantheistic philosophy depressing. His attitude of "God helps with what you can't handle" is not Biblical, and that was what I was looking for. I think "Faith" should be taken out of the title, because this book is more about how you can beat cancer without God, rather than how God can fill you with positivity and healing if you will trust Him.
