I haven't stopped wearing them since they arrived. I normally go for a Madrid style Birkenstock for comfort but wanted an ankle strap to provide more support and these fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend. They are good quality too and have a strong outer layer on the sole which I expect will minimise wearing to the sole. My sister recommended them as hers have lasted 20years!!!! They where designed by a guy who surfed the rapids, in the USA i believe. I've used these for years and buy a pair yearly as they help with my chronic arthritis. These are Leather which stretch a little to your feet. In my opinion avoid the faux material ones as these don't stretch as well.
