SANUS Simplicity 37 - 80 Full Motion TV Wall Mount

Bought a curved screen tv, and this mount does not work. Spacers are too big for the top screws (I cut them to work. Long enough screws for the bottom are not provided. Very frustrating. Will have to try to piece something together. I would not recommend this for curved tvs.

Bought this mount at Costco, it's one of the only ones they carry in the store, and the quality is great and the installation was very easy. I mounted a Samsung 55H6300 that I also got from Costco and it looks great and the full motion mount is awesome. I reviewed many other mounts on Amazon and Costco's website and I wasn't going to pick this one at first based on other reviews but now that my tv is up I'm happy that I did choose this mount.

Yes! Works with Samsung Smart Curved TVs (55" UH 4K 3D at least). Don't use the spacers provided with your TV though - use the ones that come from the box. I realized that using the ones provided with the TV and the longer bolts called for by Sanus - the bolts would be too long and over-torquing could damage your TV. I hand-tightened first to make sure it would work and realized the length issue. The installation itself is super easy. Here are some tips:- if you don't have the studs aligned to the mount location you want, put up a mounting board (3/4in min plywood) and fasten securely to the studs and then place the mounting bracket where you want. I was limited by space near my front door so did this and it works great.- the mounting location is about 20deg from perpendicular to the viewing area because we installed this near a door. That said, I have enough room to pull the TV out and get a great parallel viewing face. It's very articulate.Overall, the quality of this gear is superb. Very sturdy and the fasteners are high quality. I'm getting another one!!

For the novice this is by far the easiest wall mount to install. They actually provide really good instructions. Go to their website and you can watch a step by step video. It doesn't get any easier than this. The most critical part when installing any wall mount is measuring where the screw holes will go and finding the stud. TV's are heavy and expensive so you don't want to screw this up. Again for the novice use a stud finder ($20 bucks) to make sure you are putting the lag bolt directly into the stud. This will secure the wall mount and support the weight of the TV. The rest is easy. Make sure to use the proper length screw (provided by Sanus in the box) to mount the bracket on the back of the TV.Sanus really sells a great product. I just bought this (5/20/15) at Costco on sale for $95.00. Check internet pricing before buying.
