Before buying this product I did a quick Google search and found what seems to be a large body of reviews and cat forums talking about how bad Meow Mix is for your cat. While this may be true, I quite simply do not have the money in my budget to purchase premium cat foot for my cat. I think it's more an objection to cheap cat food than meow mix itself, and I suspect that there may be a little exaggeration going on.Those concerns aside, my cat likes this food noticeably more than Pet Pride and a couple of the other value brands I have bought. When I fill his bowl with this, it's always gone immediately, whereas the other food he'll munch on throughout the day. My cat is about 2 years old and in very good health, his coat looks great, and he is a happy, healthy little guy. I have no problem recommending this product as a good value alternative.

I think I saw the sale via slickdeals.net I got 3 bags for less than the price of one at the local supermarket. I still haven't even started using these yet, because I had a 15-20lb bag I had already bought. That bag is about 75% gone now. Still it was a great deal and couldn't pass it up.

My black Persian cat Feisty likes this dry food. The dry pellets are good for dental health and also make a good compliment to a can of Wet food served on the same plate. People say Feisty is fat but I think she just has a lot of fur.
