Perfect Scout Leader Uniform Pants
The BSA Scout Shop has very limited uniform options for female leaders, and none of them were even remotely close to being long enough for me, so I have been on the hunt for a better option. These pants were recommended so many times that I had to give them a try. I ordered a 10 Long based off of the measurements on the size chart and instead received an 8 Long. Luckily, it still worked out because they fit perfectly. I'm 5'10" and 162lbs, and most of my jeans are 6's or 8's, so it's probably still a safe bet to size up. The long length is actually long, the color is exactly what I was needing, and the pockets are perfection! There are literally pockets inside of the pockets. My only gripe is the button + snap closure. My arthritic fingers struggle to get the inward facing button fastened and I would've much preferred the more typical hook closure in it's place. These pants are very comfortable and the material seems sturdy, and still breathable. Definitely worth the price tag!

Good tac pants, even for a male
I am actually a male that wears these. I don't have a butt so often I will wear neutral women's jeans and pants since they are about the only thing that fit decently and don't sag like a mother in the butt area. I guess it is something about how they are cut for females vs. males and I hate wearing baggy clothes when I am working because it gives someone something to grab onto if I am fighting with them. That said, I see a lot of action and go through pants like crazy. Often they rip, sometimes they get blood, vomit, or other unpleasant bodily fluids on them, and other times they just fade to the point they aren't black anymore. I'd had been looking for a good, solid pair of tac-pants that weren't too tactical looking while also maintaining a good fit. Enter the 5.11 Stryke pants. Given their price, I was apprehensive about ordering them without being able to feel and try them on, but 5.11 has never let me down before with the quality of their stuff so I decided to go for it. I'm glad I did. Keep in mind that I am a male. These pants fit perfectly without looking feminine and they provide the look and function I need without going overboard: they are professional looking and still provide plenty of pocket space for notebooks, pens, phones, etc. The best part is that they don't fade. Even with my holster, which often rubs holes or fade lines into the side of the pants I wear, they stand up to the strain. They are not super tight so I don't look like Mr. Incredible walking around, but they still fit tightly enough to make it difficult for someone to just grab a handful of fabric. They are also well built and durable and go with just about any type of uniform. So women, know that you are buying a good pair of pants should you choose to get these. Men, if you are like me and have trouble finding men's pants that fit correctly, know that these are a good bet for you and that the styling will not make you look feminine.

I love these so much, I bought three more pairs.
I liked the first pair of these so much, I purchased the same pants again (olive green).., and again (black).., and then another pair (tan). I’m pretty sure that’s a record for me as far as repurchases go! I love the way these fit. They don’t fall down or sag, yet they aren’t too tight or too low/high around the waist either - I don’t even need a belt because the fit perfectly. I’m a photographer (mostly outdoors) and I bought these pants for their utility and abundance of pockets. If I could change one thing about them however, it would be the smaller pockets inside of the large leg pockets. I have a hard time putting items in the larger outer leg pocket portion because the item gets stuck on the smaller inside pocket, which makes quick access a little more challenging, especially because the Velcro likes to reseal itself before I can separate all the little pockets. I don’t know how much sense that made, but either way, it’s a minor annoyance that I can live easily live with. I’m thinking about cutting out the tiny inner pockets on one of the leg pockets just to see if that will solve the problem - and I suspect that it will. After a couple months of very frequent use, they have held up wonderfully, including their colorfastness, Velcro, and many trips through the washing machine. I’m writing this review in July 2019 and summer has kicked in full force, which here in Texas can be a brutal experience. These pants are lightweight enough to be comfortable in this extreme heat - as comfortable as possible under the circumstances anyway. Technical: I’m 5’8” and about 130 lbs (my curves are about average for an athletic build). I purchased the size 4 “long,” which are perfect for me when I’m wearing my boots, but if I’m wearing tennis shoes or sandals, I have to roll them up one half roll so they don’t drag when I walk. I still prefer this longer length though, because I usually wear boots. Each pair I have purchased fit exactly the same as the others, so the sizing seems very reliable/consistent across the board.

Comfortable but run very small
These are my go to pants for work. They have some stretch and fit nicely at the waist. The crotch is not too long either. However, they run about 2 sizes small. Also wish they didn't cost so much money! But they do hold up though. I'm 5'01" and they are a little long but not unbearable. But a short length would be nice.

Great work pants
Love these pants! The fit is perfect. I wear a 12. I ordered a 12 and they fit like they were made for me. Waterproof Great for work and for the farm. They are hot. Definitely not breathable. But perfect for what I need. Buying more in different colors.

Quality of Pants are Worth Every Penny
I like wearing cargo / utility pants, not only for hiking and outdoor activities, but also for maintenance, construction, and warehouse work. I ordered the 8 Long, because I like a little extra length since I wear steel toe Timberland work boots. As with other reviews, the Long is long. Although perfect for me, at 5’5, I would assume anyone whose shorter or doesn’t wear work boots, may find the length too long in a size 8. I’m currently 142lbs, my normal weight is 132lbs. The pants fit great. The material is thick, another review showed photos of inner seam tear at the crotch. I would say that person must of wore those pants for years, until the wheels fell off. I can’t imagine as thick as the pants are, that they would thin out so fast. The Navy Blue is pretty dark, and could be confused as black in low lighting settings. For me, the color is fine. Lots of useful and practical pockets, great stretch to the material, and the button snap is nice and secure. I tend to buy male utility pants (32x32) and find the fly can lower or the button at the waist isn’t as secure. I don’t have problems with a stomach bulge or anything, but I do a lot of bending, crawling, and lifting - which on isolated occasions has lowered the fly (zipper) with other brands. However, with THIS pair, the zipper is NOT an issue. Thank goodness, lol.

Cargo tactical pants for women
This is my third pair of these pants. They are great pants except every pair has given me separate issues. This particular pair was sent and is just not the color I ordered. so far that's all I have had issues with but I've only worn them three times. My first pair I loved, but after about a month or so the tiny pocket in the front began to tear even though I have never used those pockets. Additionally around the same time the inside seam on the legs began to fray to the point they began to rip. My second pair had a bad zipper on it from the very beginning. I thought it wouldn't have been an issue and I would just manage the way it zippered. Unfortunately after two wears the zipper completely ripped and I had to sew it back on myself. The inside seams on the thighs also frayed and ripped and I had to sew them as well. Since I had worn them before the issues started happening I obviously couldn't return them but also since it's so hard to find womens work pants I figured I would have to manage with the inconvenience of it. I also thought maybe i needed a size bigger so i ordered the next size up and i had way too much extra room in them to the point it was concerned i would lose my pants or have my panties hanging out all day. All in all the pants have been the best ones I could find which is why I am still buying them. They fit great and look great also.

5’4” 121lb
I have tried so many styles and brands of tactical pants, these are my favorite so far. The pockets are great, keep in mind if they are tight you lose space in your pockets while remaining mobile. They flex pretty well but are stiffer material (sturdier) than say prana halle pants for example. They are very practical and flattering. The waist isn’t low or high it’s a perfect mid rise. They can handle a lot. I got the grey, khaki, and TDu green so far and I love them. I typically wear regular inseam on all pants but on these and the Halle I need a long/tall. I have a short torso but by no means am I considered a tall lol. Keep that in mind. The difference in length is astronomical. You’re better off getting the long and hemming them if need be, I wear boots and thick soles so I don’t have to. But if I wore flats I would definitely need to hem them. I haven’t tried to go up a size (I got a 2) to see if the waist would still fit but allow me more room in my front pockets. I plan to in the future. They are snug around my butt and thighs. Keep all this in mind and try a few sizes. The pro style are less fitted so that would be your next best option or the icon maybe but those look snug in the thighs too. They are also great for IWB carry options.
