Best powdered meal replacemtn I have tried, yummy even!
After I got cancer I spent a lot of time looking at triggers or causes for it since it was a one in a million chance to get it. A very common theme is whey proteins and casein protein increasing the rate of cancer cell formation. Essentially they trigger the growth. I got to thinking maybe I am having too much in my diet, so I went through my cabinet of different powders and shakes. Well most anything that isn’t organic and all plant based is nothing but Whey. While searching for a non animal based powder I stumbled upon this whole meal powder. I took the plunge and got the large one in chocolate. This is the best powder I have found so far. I mix it with one other veggie based powder so I can use it up since the other brand isn’t as nice as this. This powder is really fine, and isn’t gritty at all. I was really surprised at how well it mixes with juice, odwalla, water, soy milk, and fruit. It blends together seamlessly and doesn’t get all chunky. My favorite part is how healthy it is and that it doesn’t have any animal products in it. I have been slowly moving away from animal products over the last few years to lessen my carbon footprint and not impact global warming as much. (If you can’t tell I am from Nor. Cal. And am a tree hugging millennial). The worst thing for our globe is the incredibly large amount of animal products and meats we consume. The mass AG Farms have been the greatest contributors to the environmental destruction causing global warming, more so than oil by far. By eating less meat or no meat I feel like at least I am making a tiny impact to better the earth. And by tiny I mean freaking Itty Bitty but hey everything helps right?Pro:- Mixes amazingly well with other powders and fruit- Tastes great, not yucky like other brands- Not gritty at all- Fills you up- Is animal free and lactose free- Scoop actually has a long handle so you can reach in the jar and get what you needCons:- Haven’t found any yet

Good taste, curves hunger works for IBS
I bought this meal replacement to loose about 30 lbs. Been using it for almost a week having it for breakfast. I bought this particular one because I have IBS and Whey and garlic and onion really aggravate it. This is the only one of the plant based kind that does not list onion or garlic in it and does not use whey. In any case, this works really great for me. I mix with water only as dairy can mess with my IBS too. I use ice cold water and mix it with a shaker bottle vigorously. 1st put in water then put in 2 scoops then wire whisk, close tight and shake shake shake, put an extra wiggle in it for some exercise. Then I drink it. I like it best with a straw but can drink both ways. The first time I drank it I could take the after taste people talked about and it was indeed sweet. Is it gross no, is it a yummy desert shake no, it is a meal replacement to lose weight and better my health yes so deal with it. I won't look cute this summer if I don't work hard. After 3 days of drinking it, I no longer taste the aftertaste. So, I am a chunky monkey so yes I am still hungry after I drink it, but it curves the hunger to not be starving so I can make it to lunch. And continuously drink water, I am up to 70 oz of water in one day now, I use to drink maybe 16 oz. Nobody ever said Dieting was fun, or easy. So hopefully with some discipline I will shrink this hunger monster and I will get to feeling fuller. I have put myself on a 1200 calorie a day diet and I drink this for breakfast no milk 230 calories. Then I have whatever was left over for dinner since I have portion control now, there will be leftovers. Energy, yes I do feel more energized and it could be all the veggies in here which I was so lacking in my diet. Do I feel good that at least this is one small step closer to the size I want to be. Yes, I want to have that summer body, yes I want to live to be in my 90's yes I want energy to play with my grandbaby.I bought the creamy chocolate fudge and I will probably stay using only this one it does smell good and I don't want to risk trying a different flavor that 1. may not work with my ibs or 2 . tastes really bad so I will buy this one again. :)

A delicious meal replacement.
I really enjoyed this Orgain Organic Vegan Meal Replacement Protein Powder, Chocolate Fudge. First time trying it and it won't be the last time. I mixed it in the blender with a banana, a few ice cubes, water and unsweetened almond milk, It was delicious, smooth, creamy and filling. I usually use the other Orgain Chocolate Fudge protein powder, have been for the last 4 years.

product received doesn't completely match listing, tastes ok
I got this product as a drinkable source of nutrition after wisdom teeth extractions, and I might also use it as a quick breakfast in the future. Originally, I was planning to just get ensure (which I've had before), but after doing some research, the ingredients in Orgain's product seemed far superior, so I decided to give it a try. I chose the powder over the pre-made shakes mainly because it had less sugar and more fiber. I recommend drinking it cold and maybe blending it with other ingredients to improve the taste and texture.Pros- decent (but not amazing) taste...kind of like a healthy chocolate milk?- protein and fiber helps keep you full- quality ingredients- vegan, soy free, gluten free, non-GMO (suitable for people with dietary restrictions as long as you are not allergic to any of the ingredients)- a $2 meal is actually a pretty good dealCons- chalky texture, but bearable- nutrition label on product received didn't match the one on amazon's listing (see photos)- fiber and many other vitamins were reduced, and there is now 1g added sugar- slight increase in sodium, calories, and saturated fat- the only vitamins/minerals increased were iron and niacin- same amount of protein (20g), but % Daily Value is different (I think the one on Amazon's listing is correct)
