Handy to have
It was helpful to have this on hand while diagnosing and repairing a cylinder head issue on my 2016 Mustang GT and evaluating a used Ford Fusion my daughter was going to buy.

I Would Have Preferred
I would have preferred that the hoses were extensions instead of having fixed attached plug hole adapters. This would have made it possible to adjust the length making the unit more flexible. That said, good set. I only checked one cylinder so actual accuracy is unknown but better than my old (15 years +) KD Tools which read 125lbs on all cylinders. Cold Block Test of 350 #1 Cylinder with 111,000+ miles: 3 test results were Consistent -155lbs 155lbs 155lbs and held pressure.

Unit has a good selection of accessories, is well made and will last a long time. Price was more than expected but should last, shipping was good and packaged well.

High Quality, Accurate
Very nice piece of equipment. A must for small engine (as well as automotive) diagnostic work.This unit has Schrader valves on all the hoses, where they screw into the spark plug hole. This gives a much more accurate reading.Also comes with spare parts such as o-rings and Schrader inserts.

Mityvac MV5530 Engine Compression Test Kit
Nice testing kit. Has long and short thread adapters. Used it to test a Kawasaki KX85. Showed about about 150 PSI, which is good news. All components appear well made.
