COCOSHIP Elegant Retro Inspired Boy-Leg One Piece Ruched Monokinis Swimsuit(FBA)

I absolutely love this swimsuit! Word of advice: Order you regular size with this swimsuit! I know a lot of the reviews for swimsuits on Amazon will advise you to order two sizes larger than your normal size, but with this one I recommend ordering your regular size. I am 5'2" and 135 lbs (on most days). I have an hourglass figure and I am a little on the muscular side. I ordered a size 6 and I normally wear anywhere between a 2 in pants (NY & Co.) to a 6 in other brands. I'm curvy so it depends on the cut. I also usually buy size 27 in the waist for jeans that use the waist to determine the size. I wear a 36C bra. Also, you want your swimsuit to fit well so that you'll feel secure in the pool or on the beach. I will say that the bust area could use a little more supportive material, but its still workable and doesn't take away from the overall quality of the suit. My cheeks hang out of the "boy shorts" very slightly, but its not a major issue. Just be aware that if you are a little curvy in the bottom area, you may experience this too. The front and center of the suit features a lined panel with ruching down the middle. The rushing and double panel is great to hide areas you want hidden, so to speak. It helps to hold in your tummy if you need a little extra support. The back of the suit is not lined, so keep that in mind. This is not a deal-breaker though, it's still a great suit! The halter is also comfortable around the neck and doesn't feel too tight or anything. Overall, this is a great swimsuit. I love the retro design and feel. So chic and sexy look without being too exposed. It's especially great when your have young kids and you're still getting your body together and want to feel cute and sexy at the same time! It's cute even if you don't have any kids though! It's just a nice, sexy, and well-made suit and the price is unbeatable. You will not find a suit like this in any regular store that's for sure. Plus Amazon is usually great about returns and exchanges. I am just so impressed with this suit that I wanted to share my experience with other women. I did not receive any discounts for this review. This swimsuit is adorable. I've been wanting one of these retro style one pieces for some time but they were so expensive, even hundreds of dollars. I ordered a size 6 and I'm about 5'2", 130 lbs and it fit me width and lengthwise just fine. The fabric seems to be of good quality and felt good during wear. I have not yet worn is while swimming. I like the boyleg openings because I've had 3 children and this covers those imperfections otherwise known as stretchmarks. I also have a pretty wide hips and larger bum, but the boylegs cover sufficiently which I'm very happy with. I also didn't find myself constantly pulling them down and didn't notice any rolling.I will agree with others that the bust area can seem small. I'm a 34C which is among the "average female" size. However in this swimsuit, that's probably the biggest you should be. So if you're a size 6 and are a FULL C cup or bigger, I'd order a size bigger. (Or order 2 and return one)I would also say that the straps for tying the halter are a little short for me. I prefer to tie my straps in a bow and due to the thickness and shorter length, there is almost not enough strap to tie and I end up with what looks like a large bunch of tied fabric at the nape of my neck. I like the cute look of the straps when they hang down on the back so I ended up just tying in a knot instead. It wasn't a deal breaker for me so still 5 stars!

I bought this swimsuit on the recommendation that it fits well for women who have long torsos and substantial curves. I am 5'6", approximately 38-32-38, and ordered size 16 to be on the safe side because my cup size is just shy of GG.Overall, the swimsuit fits very well. Immediately after pulling it out of the box, my first thought was, "There is no way." Husband took one glance and commented that I would need a bikini top to layer with it because it would never fit. Tried it on, and it did! The tops and sides of the cups feel very secure with ample coverage and little risk of slipping. Full cleavage is shown, but not terribly immodest; might think twice about wearing it uncovered in certain company. The padding in the cups covers only a small area in the front and does not add support from underneath, but the seam fits well enough to give the feel of being securely in place. In the water, the fabric retains its tension and doesn't loosen up much. There is a slight formation of an air pocket in the front that will release bubbles on occasion, nothing major.After just two swim sessions, I noticed that the suit developed a small but obvious 1" tear next to the elastic, in the center of the twist of fabric between the bikini. For that, I knocked it down a star. Planning to reinforce that section with a clever needle and continue wearing it in the water for as long as it will last.

I really wanted this to work! I bought a bunch of Cocoship swimsuits and the sizing is all over the map. This was the only suit with an actual boyleg cut and I LOVE that and wanted a suit with that. However, the smallest size was just a tad baggy (and this is despite other Cocoship suits in a medium being too small/short-bodied). A slightly too baggy suit while dry will bag and sag in the water, so it had to go back. The top could have been a little more supportive (adding a keyhole and closure center back would accomplish this). I felt like I would be in danger of side-boob pop out if I were to dive in this. An extra support panel there would be nice. The back seemed a little thin and I wonder what it would do when wet (I could see the pattern on the underwear I was wearing while trying it on). But all that aside, it was extremely flattering and I would have kept it if it had been a bit smaller. I liked that the suit was long enough for my torso (5'7" tall).
