My Favorite Workout Investment. Easy to Assemble and Very Sturdy.
I did gymnastics as a child and have always tried to maintain my fitness. I ordered these because I am trying to build up strength to do a planche (press handstand). I previously made my own PVC set, but they kept falling apart at the joints. I am so glad that I ordered these! They included a very clear, short list of instructions that was easy to follow. I only needed about 5 minutes tops to put these together. They are very sturdy. I use them almost every day and have been able to increase my upper body strength tremendously. I highly recommend these parallettes!

Good company, bad product.
So, I'd absolutely love to give this a 5 star review, but I cannot. I ordered these wooden parallettes and they arrived in the time it states. Awesome. I was so so so excited to finally own a pair of parallettes for body weight fitness. I opened the box and noticed they were in another box inside the amazon box, this one was the actual company box (not amazon), no big deal. Opened that and noticed the plastic wrap that was holding the parallettes looked... foggy? It wasn't until I took them out that they were a bright wood color like in the photo, they were darker, they also smelled like rotting wood. Turns out that's what it was, rotting wood. I went ahead and inspected the rest of them, the metal was slightly rusted in areas, and I realized this was because of water damage. I guess these were in a flooded area or something? Lame. On the company box it says satisfaction guaranteed, so I called THEM and not amazon. I also took photos and emailed them to the company. They answered and said "Oh I'm sorry for your product, I'm sending you out a new pair immediately, and emailing you confirmation"What? They didn't even want them back? Well okay!Waited another week, finally got them. SO EXCITED! Opened the box. SAME THING. MORE MOLD, MORE ROT. MORE RUST. What in the world is going on??Called them back, replied to their email, took more photos and sent. "Hey, same thing" Lady said "No worries, I will personally pick out a pair myself"Okay, sweet! So I decided to wait for them to send me confirmation. A few days later I sent "can you please send me tracking number whenever possible" I then got an email back saying the pair she picked out the manager said they weren't good enough, so they said they would hope a metal pair would do. I said "Sure why not" All I wanted was parallettes that worked. The metal ones finally arrived and they were perfect. So, I'd LOVE to give the company a 5 star review, but I mean, it took them 3 times to get it correct when it should have been the first time. Also, this is a review for THIS product, so I don't see myself ever buying this product again... ESPECIALLY for 90 bucks. I would recommend you guys look at some of the cheaper options, or even building your own.

Love these!
These work great!!! A few years ago, I got hit by a car on my motorcycle and broke my leg, and I haven't been able to go to the gymnastics gym open gym sessions ever since. I've tried to go, but it's just too much stress on my leg (I have a temporary metal rod in my leg and 4 screws). The reason I love these so much is because now I can practice my handstands and other workout items in the privacy of my home, and at my own pace. They're plenty sturdy. I'm 6FT 220LBs, and these things have absolutely zero problems. I highly recommend them. My only problem is I need higher ceilings! haha. Doing a full handstand with toes pointed, and all of my toes are touching the ceiling.Every day I have these things, I'm realizing different workout positions I can do with them to get back into my pre-accident shape.

Terrible QA; look elsewhere
tl;dr: Anyone who isn't prepared to return or rework these should look for a better quality product. The manufacturer doesn't seem to have gotten their act together.Cons: I had the same problem as other reviewers. One parallette has the metal mounts out of plane, meaning it's uneven on the floor and rocks viciously. The quality of the wood dowels is dismal. The wood looks and feels cheap, like the sort of thing you'd throw at Woodworking 101 students where you expect screw-ups. The dowels are definitely not "appearance grade", with discolorations and surface only just sanded to a reasonable degree. I've used and purchased a fair amount of wooden training and sports equipment over the years, and these dowels are worse than any of that. Topping that off, the dowels appear too small for the end hardware with a significant visible gap, at least 3/16". This is manufacturing fail 101: there are no critical machining tolerances here, just a need for the dowel to fit the ends without *too* much slop.Pros: the metal hardware itself seems fine. Since I have some woodworking chops, I'm going to replace the dowels with better quality and properly sized ones. Easier than hassling with sending these back and ordering something else, but effort I'd hoped to avoid in the first place.

Unfortunate wobble reduces safety and utility.
These have promise, and were supposed to be from the newly engineered batch to correct an existing problem. However, one of these parallettes was not level once assembled. It appears that the wood bars are attached to the uprights without the entire unit being assembled, and because of this, the uprights were several degrees off from being square. This results in one of the units having a pronounced wobble. This could be an easy fix, removing the screws from one side of the bar, leveling it and reattaching the screws. I haven't decided yet if I will do that or simply return the items. For $70 (on sale) this shouldn't be an issue that I have to deal with.
