Received non-matched ring and pinion
Didn’t bother to install after I discovered it’s a mismatched set. How does that happen? Beyond the return period so I am out of luck. FYI this works in newer 9.75 axles with a conversion bearing kit.

Just installed, after initial install had a very small whine and has disappeared after about 50 miles. Runs quiet and good now
