Targus Drifter Sport Backpack for 14-Inch Laptops, Black (TSB842)

It's light and small. I love this bag. I finally got a slim laptop from work. This is nice and compact. I don't feel like I take up a bunch of space while walking to my desk and passing people in the halls. It holds exactly what I need. The very front pocket is big enough for my phone or small wallet. The 2nd pocket is larger and I fit my Vera Wang Small Cross over purse, which is the side of a large women's wallet. I can fit my laptop, a couple of notebooks, and a case that i have for cables, and miscellaneous stuff. It's about 1" to 1.5" thick and 6" X 10".

This backpack works for me. I wanted to downsize from my other laptop backpack and this works. It's lightweight and has a lot of compartments. I use it to and from work everyday.

Nice little backpack. I moved down from a 15.6" laptop and the Drifter II backpack. While this definitely has less room, it fits everything I need and provides fine protection for 13" ultrabook..

Awesome backpack. Small, compact size and is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was tired of my big/bulky backpack for a 14" laptop. I purchased this Targus Drifter Sport Backpack in January 2016 off of Amazon and the plastic handle is ripping and I just called and the warranty is for me to pay to mail it to them and for them to have 10 days to process the return plus the shipping time back. I could be looking at up to a month to have a replacement backpack on an item that isn't even 5 months old (light use). The only other choice was a Case Logic but the shoulder straps were not as comfortable. All in all it is a good backpack - just dinging it due to the carrying handle that is breaking down with limited use.

Very well designed compact laptop backpack. The oly issue is that the handle loop on top snapped at the rivet in my unit, i had to send back to amazon.

My goal was to find a small/slim backpack that would fit a laptop up to "14. After ordering it, I was excited to receive this bag. Unfortunately upon receipt I noticed a few things that made purchasing this bag disappointing. The one thing that I expect is that these backpacks have a bit more padding and decent lining (like fleece) since it is basically catering to the laptop. I couldn't find much on this bag (I think its new on the market) so I decided to take a chance.The first thing that I noticed looking into the main compartment was, the stitching. I found that it was loose and some of it was bundled up in a particular spot. I thought with a few uses eventually it would unravel. In addition, the lining of the inside could be better as it felt cheap.Lastly, the compartment where you put your laptop barely has any padding and the bookbag itself on the bottom has no padding. I mean even a couple slivers of foam would be nice. Obviously one wouldn't be throwing their bag around carelessly but with this one you would still need to be careful of how you handle and what you put in it. Getting this backpack is really no different from going to a department store and purchasing a regular one at $10. The bag does have adequate space and a lot of compartments but it could use some improvements as the concept is there.

Muy buena mochila en general. Teniendo en consideración el costo de la misma, es una excelente opción. Lo primero es aclarar que cuenta solo con un compartimento principal, el cual a su vez cuenta con una manga para laptop. Lo cual es excelente en mi opinion ya que permite que se carguen artículos mas voluminosos dentro de la misma.Continua un compartimento alto y grande, aunque angosto, con una red pequeña y las típicas divisiones para plumas y alguna libreta pequeña. Por ultimo el compartimento al frente que no ofrece mas divisiones. A los costados cuenta con dos redes para botellas de agua.El comfort de la misma es muy bueno, esta bien acolchada, y si bien las correas podrían tener mayor acolchado, al ser bastantes anchas hacen que distribuyan el peso de forma excelente. Cuenta con un compartimento secreto en la parte de la espalda baja. A destacar es el asa superior, la cual es una trenza de metal recubierta en silicon grueso y que tiene ademas otra recubierta en hule. Es muy cómoda de usar, se amolda bien y da mucha confianza, otros modelos deberían de tomar nota.En resumen es una excelente mochila para del día a día, es muy bonita y discreta a su vez, muy versátil por su buen volumen, el único pero es que debería de ofrecer un broche de pecho.

This is a great, solid travel bag. I'm just back from a 4 flight trip and the bag carried everything I needed from my Laptop to my headphones to the charger to even smaller pockets that held my USB sticks and pens. The bag itself is light enough and can fit underneath the seat in front of you on an airplane. The materials don't feel cheap.I highly recommend this bag.

Nice little bag. A little smaller than I expected but it does the job.
