This is my second unit, It works great.

The first time that I used the smoking gun to make an Old Fashioned was perfect. It created alot of smoke effortlessly. The second time, I had a little difficulty getting as much smoke as I did the first time. I think that the issue was I needed a bigger flame to get it started because once I changed lighters, it produced a substantial amount of smoke! I really like the size and convenience of this gun compared to the ones that you have to hold. I am looking forward to smoking everything from cocktails to popcorn and everything else. I decided to go with the Premium kit so I could have pretty much everything that I would need. I can't wait to try the round cocktail sphere that came with the Premium kit. I gave it 4 stars because I really haven't used it but a few times. I look forward to using it much more! Overall I would definitely recommend this product based on quality, price, and convenience.

I first had a smoked cocktail in New Orleans. Been craving one ever since. My husband bought me this for mothers day and I've been smoking any and everything. Great smoked meats and cheeses. Awesome drinks. Device is very easy to work and set up and I didnt need to spend a fortune to have one. Highly recommend to try this one before spending much more money on other brands because this one works just as good. I like the different contraptions they give you to try different things: The clear dome, the drink bubble, the flat top plate that sits over your own cup. The assortment of smoked chips are very generous. A little goes a long way and these will last for some time before I need more. The actual device was easy to light and stay lit. My only recommendation is to turn on a vent or do this outside (it runs on batteries so you can do it anywhere). I set my fire alarm off because of the smoke the first time. Easy fix. Overall a really cool gadget at an awesome price. Will definitely buy from them again.

Couldn't wait to smoke salmon, fruit and some drinks. It worked great and looking to try other recipes. Good value for price. Will experiment with different flavors of smoke and amount of chips needed. Not difficult to control the amount of smoke you need.

Great smoker, easy to use, works perfect

This is a clever idea, with a few flaws; the basket is very small, and the tubing is too rigid. That may sound odd, but... 1) you have to space the smoker a fair distance from the dome, or the cheap tubing will kink, blocking the smoke. 2) The smoke imbues very little flavor with a single application, so you would need to run it several times or put smoke in for a longer period than the little bowl/ basket allows. 3) the little handle fell off my cloche upon unboxing. Finally, 4) if you are going to use enough smoke to actually add any flavor, use it outdoors, or under your extractor fan. Overall, the unit itself is fairly well done, it's the tubing and cloche that are cheaply done.

Arrived very well packaged with everything included to get started straight away. Everything felt well made and not flimsy. There are 7 sample pots of different wood chips to try, not very big but plenty to give you an idea of what you might prefer. I couldn't wait to get started and decided to try something simple and smoked a couple of slices of cheese. Just a small pinch of hickory wood chips in the cup, inserted the hose nozzle into the dome, put my cheese under the dome, turned on the fan and lit the chips.... Wow, how much smoke? I was impressed. I wasn't sure if I had used the right quantity of chips or if I needed a few more, but with a little experimenting I'll figure it out. I tasted the cheese and it was lightly smokey, so I gave it a 2nd smoke and it was very good definitely smokey. Now I'm off to find something else to smoke and try the other flavours. I've found a recipe for smoked Manhattan's, so I'm going to try those tonight. Overall I'm seriously impressed with this little piece of kit, well worth the money with everything included to get you started.

Got it as a present for my Hubby's B-Day. Have used it about 10 times now. Good quality. Very reasonable price for all the bits you get. Great selection of wood chips (7) have used 5 so far. Use mostly for Cocktails but have smoked some cheese too. Work perfectly.

Durable, cleanable. All of the wood chip samples were great.
