I just realized we mostly use 23awg solid utp cat 6 - will these connectors fit on this ethernet?

Yes they will, We have made about 200 ends with this using 23awg solid utp cat6.

The description claim it supprt 24 - 24 awg while cat6 cables are 23 awg, how can it fit?

They work just fine for me. I have made dozens of CAT-6 cables with these connectors. I guess the difference between 23 AWG (.57mm outer diameter) and 24 AWG (.52mm OD) is so little that it doesn't matter in the connector. The label on the container doesn't specify any wire size - just CAT-6.

Can this be used for cat5e ?

Yes. I have used it on cat5e. Works great
