The updated edition has 20 different songs that are not in the first edition. It also has a lot of the same songs as the first edition. Some of the same songs have different guitar tabs in this updated edition. For example Girls Got Rhythm has a different guitar tab. Shook Me All Night Long has a different intro guitar tab. Hells Bells has a different guitar tab. It is tabbed out the way that I have been playing the song for years. Also, it seems organized as well as any of the few books like this that I have used. However, there are cases where it isn't exactly clear how different sections of a song (or parts) fit together. Anyone who knows the songs well will be able to figure it out though.
