As soon as I put this on I got pain relief and it is quite comfortable. Great for taking a hike without experiencing pain afterwards. Material seems well made and durable but I've only had it a week or so. Very easy to adjust too.

OMG This helped my back so much! I have an SI joint problem along with other sciatica issues (Including a Coflex spacer in my L4 and L5) so I always wake up "Stuck" and have to do these weird stretches that hurt terribly. Until I found this! This item helps so much! I cant go a day without it now! I only have to wear it for about an hour, then the problem is solved. Excellent purchase.

I have hypermobility and posture issues and I use this belt along with thinner support with a leg portion in tandem. The construction allows you to set the under belt portion tight for support while the main straps over them can be set to pull on one side or the other more.My right hip is the issue so the way I set the belt is to have the right strap be lose and positioned at my right hip, while the left strap goes all the way over to the right hip and pulls it from there. Then you can adjust the elastic portion like an X to cover your entire hips, front or back.After doing that along with wearing it over my thinner brace has done a great job at helping my body get back into a position where my other muscles can grab it. The only issue is that it can be difficult to find the eventual fit that helps, and that the X straps can not go low enough to support my right glute, but that's ok as It's going fine despite that.

This was given to me to relieve signifiant back pain. I was surprised that this belt eased the pain and became part of my routine. Easy to use and seems to be well made.

Let's be clear. This does not CURE an issue in the SI joint. I have hurt my SI joint over the years and it usually is ending up around once a year now. I am a weightlifter and I got the belt this last round of injury. And I am careful with my lifts. As a personal trainer, I need to be supported to demo for clients and help them out. I have used many weight belts over the years. From the old leather straps, to today's buckles and velcro. I will say that this SI belt does support the SI joint specifically. And with the dual straps you can vary the tightness on either side well. It is also very comfortable to use daily. I have had the belt for 1 month and would love to see how it is 6 months from now but for now? It works very well as a support tool for gym goers. Again, this will not sure the pain - meds do that for me. But it does give me the support I need to be wary of how I use my lower back during lifts or workouts.Update: months have passed and wanted to update everyone. The belt was fine for a while then the velcro began to wear out. Now the belt won't stay tight and locked anymore. No matter how much I brush the material the belt snaps off whenever I tighten it. I dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3.

I had intense SI pain after an acute injury to the joint, and since I knew what was wrong I didn’t want to go to the doctor because there’s truly not much they can do for it. I used this brace religiously for a few weeks until the constant pain eased, and then started scaling back. I healed my SI pain on my own!!

This belt has become very crucial to my ability to function with my hip pain. It gives enough support that allows me to get through my day and minimize the amount of pain I would normally have to deal with. I have to remove it periodically to let my waist breath, but it is something I use on a daily basis. It is comfortable enough to both sleep and work in. I would say if you are dealing with any hip or SI joint type pain, this is a must.

Update: 6-26-2021 As much as I loved the initial support of the Sparthos Belt, in 9 weeks, the velcro was not holding as well. By 12 weeks, the belt would actually fall off when walking. The inside stretchy material ripped.. Odd, as I had plenty of room to still wrap tighter.Since it was over 30 days, I could not return the belt.I replaced it with the Vriksasana, which appears to have similar support.Purchased March 6, 2021:With having continual pain in my hip for 6 mos, with not much helping, It was suggested to try the Sparthos Support Belt for two weeks plus doing some additional stretches, then wean off of it. I've worn it 24/7 low on my hips (inc. wearing while sleeping) for one week with amazing results. I can walk easier and further. Day 6 feeling so good, I 'over did' causing issues today. Now I'll increase walking per day. I am certainly impressed with the support it gives, and highly recommend the Sparthos.
