Fantastic coffee maker, however........
After much consideration and research I decided not to jump on the bean to cup coffee express, opting for this little beasty.Now like you, I read the reviews about 'cheap plastic' , 'too noisy' , 'Not great taste', let me put your mind at easy, whoever wrote those reviews don't know how to get the best out of their machine and have unrealistic expectations for a £150gbp machine.Starting with the build quality - Everything is sturdy, fits together well, easy to disassemble and clean. The only poor quality plastic is that in the coffee scoop and to be fair, it does its job well.The machine is simple to use and you can also set your own personal level for coffee or milk so you get a perfect coffee everytime.What I have found to get the best coffee everytime is:- use filtered water- use a good quality coffee- use good quality milk- use quality insulated glass cupI think the negative reviews are from people that just expect any coffee, water, milk to taste amazing, that's not reality. Quality ingredients take this coffee machine to another level.Really happy with the purchase and as for the 'noise', yes the milk frother is loud but close your eyes and you'd think you were in a coffee shop having it made for you haha

Excellent, good quality
The coffee this machine prepares is the best I've had in a while. At work we have a way more expensive coffee machine (£700) and to be honest, I prefer the Cecotec one! Save your money on Starbucks, get yourself a good machine and enjoy the best coffee every day at home!

Seems to be design flaws
Had one and it wasnt working, kindly sent another one and it worked fine for a couple of months , now the milk holder isnt sitting correctly in the station and have to hold it and pressure against the statio whilst the milk froths or nothing comes out at all. This is of course now it cant be returned

Decent machine
Works fine so far. It is a bit noisy, but it doesn't bother me. The only problem I had was the EU plug, machine kept on blowing fuses in cheap adapters. Eventually I've bought a decent adapter and everything is fine.

The best home
Great product far better than more expensive makes easy to operate and comes with an excellent instruction manual
