Pathfinder Combat Pad (P2)

Makes organizing combatants for Pathfinder 2E very simple and easy. Very useful and kind of a must-have for Pathfinder GMs. A little bit expensive but it is very handy. My only complaint is that the magnets themselves are extremely weak. It is very easy to knock them off or to simply have them fall off unexpectedly.

The magnets are strong enough to keep them in place if you bump or pick up the pad but are still easy to slide around and remove. We use this for DnD 5e and it works great. I especially like the small numbers on the name badges. We sometimes battle a lot of mobs and use dice on the game table with that mods number showing. Now we can match the numbers on the table with the initiative pad and no longer get confused about which monster is which. The board is very easy to wipe off. Would recommend.

Además, tiene elementos magneticos en los que identificas a personajes, enemigos y monstruos o aliados, y así llevar un control de la iniciativa. Pero también sirve para tomar notas del combate, incluso para escribir mensajes a alguno de tus jugadores y hasta para dibujas esquemas sencillos si necesitas explicar una posición o algo parecido.Paizo pone mucho cuidado a sus productos, y esto no es la excepción. Es fuerte, no se destiñe con el uso, y ya mucho tiempo de usarlo y sigue como nuevo.Una excelente inversión.

I like this board a lot but there are some problems, most of which others have mentioned, but I'll reiterate here.1. The board is too flimsy. This is actually a big issue. I'm still trying to figure out how to best protect this thing when I'm not using it. It's double-sided, and while that is a cool thing, they should have instead backed it in something sturdier to make the board more durable.2. The magnets are weak and the magnet in the board does not extend to the edges of the board. Again, these aren't huge issues, but considering this is the entire purpose of the board, it should at least do what it's supposed to do well. It's just "okay" instead. The weak magnetism also means that the double-sided nature of the board is even more pointless, because flipping it over would likely just result in magnets dropping.3. Storage. Perhaps an odd complaint, but no way is provided for storing the magnets or board. Fortunately I had a little plastic box I was able to repurpose for the magnets. If you're going to buy this product, definitely think beforehand about where you're going to put the board and its many magnets.This may seem like nitpicking, but this is a product of convenience, so nitpicking is warranted. I still like it, but I think it could be significantly improved upon. Make it a bit larger, strengthen the magnets a bit, perhaps even add a stand to the back so it can stand up on a table, and it would be a fantastic product, but as it is, it's just... good. Overpriced, but most TTRPG stuff is.

Obviously, you don’t have to use this mat just for Pathfinder. It’s really easy to setup, writes and erases well, it’s easy to store since all of the little tags stick to it. It makes tracking encounters really easy.

I bought this as an upgrade from the older Pathfinder Combat Pad, and this version has plenty of options for PCs, NPCs, and monsters for my 5-person gaming group. I would recommend purchasing a clipboard or something similar to support and hold the pad in place at the table.

I have to say after 30 some years of gaming. I am glad somebody made one of these. I have done something like this for a few years now using a small whiteboard and post-it notes.

Sturdy, wipes clean easily and does all the things it is supposed to do.

Esta súper y me ha servido para mis encuentros de DnD pero si está muy caro.

I love it so far. It's a nice simple way to keep encouncters in initiative order. Haven't used the extra bits too much, but I like having such a large blank space to keep track of HP and other stuff.

A great idea for an accessory. Before this it was just paper everywhere tracking initiative, hit points, conditions etc. now it’s much easier to manage and a bit of fun to use.My one gripe is that the magnetic strips feel a bit weak but they’re strong enough to stay on if you flip it upside down and I suppose it makes them easier to move around. I just would have preferred it to feel a bit more secure.

Contrairement aux commentaires US, je trouve que le produit respire la qualité.L'épaisseur est suffisante, je vois mal comment casser le produit sans le vouloir.Les magnets collent suffisamment, en tout cas si vous retourner le pad, les magnets restent collé.Un accessoire indispensable de MJ pour une vingtaine d'euros!
