School Issue Varsity 6300 Uniform Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

They take a little breaking in, but are comfortable once done, and look exactly like the ones from my school days.

The shoes look great. Seem well made. Our son not so thrilled but that is expected. Compared to tennis shoes or crocs the shoes are stiff and he is not used to a heel even though it is very slight. Colors are true.

This is a classic style shoe that you could NEVER go wrong with! Buyer beware, Payless offers this same style shoe in solid colors for more than half the price during most seasons! Because this shoe gets scuffed very easily, I would prefer to pay lass $ for just a few wears! However, I must say I've never seen the 2 tone browns ones in payless so I had to bite the bullet on this one for Thanksgiving! lol!

This shoe looks great and appears to be quite sturdy. It’s a little heavy, but it didn’t seem to bother my son, who’s very picky about comfort. It did seem to run much larger than the size chart, so I had to send the first pair I purchased back and get a smaller size.

I bought a cheaper pair of saddle shoes online since my daughter goes through them so quickly for school. We started noticing horrible stinky feet with the non-leather shoes! After powders and sprays didn't help, I realized the synthetic fabric of the cheaper shoe was the issue. I immediately bought these leather shoes and the stinky feet have disappeared. They are sturdier, fit as expected, and we will be sticking with these.

love the shoe it looks just like the picture. However I was disappointed as it was way to big and wide! My 6 year old was unable to fit into a 13.5 then I order a 13 and that did not work.

I ordered these for my three and a half year old grand son. He looks so cute when wearing thiese, and everyone he comes across comments on them.. Before having him wear the shoes, I sprayed with a waterproof leather and suede protector. No scuff marks at all and it's two months later. When he outgrows these, I'll be buying him another pair for sure.. added bonus----he loves them too--his favorite pair of shoes

Since it's not clear from the product title that these shoes are for girls only, and we took the M and W in the sizing choices to signify men's or women's (boys' or girls') rather than medium and wide sizes, my new bride and I purchased a pair for her young son/my stepson to wear in our wedding when we couldn't find similar saddle shoes to match mine in local department stores. We were profoundly disappointed (understatement) to discover far from home and with the big day at hand that he couldn't wear them due to the mistake. He wore hiking shoes, since it was that or sneakers. It was all we could do to drag him out of the room without dress shoes, he was so mortified. After the wedding, when we looked up the product page and discovered how this had happened, he told me that he wanted to burn the shoes, he was so disgusted. We left them behind in our room, and I hope they end up with a girl who can wear and enjoy them.Yes, the detailed product description posted far down the product page (off-screen beneath other info and rows of related products) indicates that the shoes are for girls. So one could say this was our mistake. But we never saw the details, nor felt the need to go hunting for them, since all the info we thought we needed appeared at the top of the page and on the sizing and order screens. I hope the good folks at School Issue Footwear, who presumably didn't intend to mislead anyone, will revise the product title to make it clear that these shoes are intended and sized for girls only, so that other parents aren't similarly disappointed. When they do, I'll be glad to revise this review.
