Beautiful, fantastic tearjerker!
A gem of a movie, it will go down as one of my favorites. Brilliant acting, heartwarming story, lovely characters - what’s not to like about this movie? If anything, I want another installment of Alice, Bella, Vernon and Billy! Great movie, definitely a must watch.

What a sweet story
What a sweet story. The tale of people impacting each others' lives simply by being themselves. This movie is filled with lovable characters who make you laugh, cry, cheer, and hope.

So lovely
I could not love this more! So innocent and pure, this is a simple, beautiful movie. You can just sit back and enjoy it for what it is. I'm not sure I would actually compare it to a fairytale since they always have something sinister to them. But maybe if only the good parts were included, that's what this would be.

Good as a normal-life re-entry piece after an aunt's funeral.
This is one of those films that pretends gorgeous people have normal-people problems like parental abandonment, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or being evicted from their flats/apartments due to bureaucratic loop holes. Everything works out just fine of course, and the problems just kind of go away because..well..the main characters are young, beautiful, and clever, and can attract the love of same. Except the Wilkinson--who's less young and beautiful, but more clever. Watch this if you need something banal--like to put on for the kids who never really knew auntie, the way she understood you when your parents didn't--and that won't tax their minds, usurp their morality, or otherwise offend anyone's senses--while you get on with the hard work of processing your real existence and what her life really meant.

Fantastic Little Film - Wrong Copy
The film is a little gem, caught it by accident one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great heart warming story, excellent quirky characters and great acting all round, with Jessica Brown Findlay being the standout.......Only problem is I bought it on disc (I like Hard Copies) It wasn't stated which region it was from, so it being on a co.uk site I thought it was for the UK, nope it was a US import so doesn't work on my BR/DVD players or PS4, the Digital download doesn't work either, luckily I managed to download a copy from elsewhere but the Regions should have been shown on the ad.

Truly beautiful film
I first watched it with my wife and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Story line follows a relationship between a young woman that lives next to a very grumpy older man. They share a love of garden, although this is not obvious from the out-set. As the relationship evolves, in a none sexual sense, the woman achieves a degree of break through with the older neighbour when he overlook her gardening skill or lack of them and guides her in improving the garden she has with the property rented. We both finished the film laughing not that it was fashioned to build laughter but become of the grumpy old man's input and how many men can come across as grumpy without even trying. Recommend yes.

DVD incompatible with DVD player
Bought this as a Xmas present for my sister who now tells me it won’t work on her DVD player as it’s an American DVD and her DVD player is not compatible. I wasn’t aware when I bought it that this might be a problem. Is there any chance I could have a refund or have it replaced with an alternative version which is compatible with older British DVD players?
