I recently purchased the "Modelones Gel Top Coat" and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This top coat is incredibly durable, resisting wear and tear even after weeks of application. These are basic requirements if you need to do gel nails. I do my own at home and like to keep a nice set of top and base coats in to make the most of a long-lasting manicure. The formula is just the right amount of thickness and then you have a matt or shiny top coat option. The top coats are non-sticky so do not end at all tacky (they are non-wipe) and you can use them to get different effects and finish. Obviously you could just use these on their own for a nail strengthener whilst you grow out your own nails or use to sandwich a couple of coats of colour in between. This set is versatile and will last me months. I would buy them again as I think the price is very good too.

These are good quality products. When applied thinly a nice result is obtained. My last manicure lasted around 2 weeks before it started to chip or crack.A good brand compared to other cheaper brands out there

Best base ever, I have really soft nails and tried few products to prevent peeling for my gel nails with no luck. I bought this set mainly to try the base to see if the gel will peel after a week but surprise, no more peeling after a week and still looking great!I am still to try the top but I am sure it’s good.Best base ever!!!

Base cost is very thick, top coat doesn’t set well. No shine to it.

For a few months now, I'm doing my own nails using polygel. The primer, base and top coat are really good. Just follow the steps of preparing the nails and the curing times.

I was so excited when this arrived, went on great, but then within 24 hours it started turning white on my thumbs and fingers and then peeling off. I contacted them about returning this product because of the peeling and making my mani look horrid.Since then I have researched it more and it was my error after all. I use dip powders and prepped my nails including making them smooth like I would if I was putting on the topcoat (that came with the dip powders, that is not as shiny and glossy). I found by leaving my nails a little rough after putting the activator on them that this now stays on and looks great a week after redoing them. I will be buying more products from Modelones including more of this top gel coat :-)

This gel base, top, and matte top coat trio is awesome! Let me start by saying Im not a professional but I'm a nail enthusiast and I've been doing mine and my family's nails for years. This is a really good set. Don't let the price fool you! The best aspect of it is that the top coats are no wipe! I never had to grab lint free wipes! The regular top coat is nice and even though I have used other brands that have a better shine, for the price you cannot beat it! The base goes on nicely. Not too thin not to thick. It has a good consistency. It cures well too. Not like some other brands where no matter how long you cure it never dries. Its a solid base coat and works well.For anyone who had issues with this gel or any gel for that matter. 3 things to remember when working with gel: 1) cure it for the correct amount of time (usually 30-60 secs in LED or 2-3 mins in UV). 2) apply thin coats because if its too thick it will peel. 3) make sure you aren't getting it on your skin (the oils on the skin around the nail will cause the gel to lift). BONUS TIP: Prep your nails by gently filing and buffing the shine off your natural nail, remove cuticle from the nail, and make sure to apply a good dehydrator and bonder. All these things make make a difference trust me.Now I will update this review when I test the longevity of the set I did on my sister's nails. We'll see how the base and top hold up. But so far so good.

Sehr dickflüssiger gel. Trägt sich gut auf und härtet schnell. Jedoch ist nicht wirklich Kratz fest nach ein zwei Wochen kann man den Glanz mit dem ersten Tag nicht vergleichen aber ich mache echt viel mit den Nägeln.

I found this trio here on Amazon, and was delighted that it included an acid-free primer with the base and topcoats.I am not a nail professional but I have been doing my nails on my own using gel products for several years. I have very sensitive nail beds and thin nails, so I cannot use an acid primer.I paired this trio with two Modelones glitter gel polishes that I also bought on Amazon. You can tell the quality behind these products. From the very nice packaging, to the quality brushes for each bottle, I am really impressed. The primer really helps the gel polishes to adhere properly to your nail bed. The primer and base coats are very easy to apply, I used one coat of each. After I cured the base coat, I used 2 coats of gel polish, and then applied one coat of this no-wipe topcoat.I am thrilled with the shine from this topcoat. I type a lot at work and tend to wear off the top coat of other brands, leading to a very dull look for my nails. So far this topcoat has not shown any wear and I still have very shiny, pretty nails. The fabulous brushes with each bottle make applying these products so nice, it is much easier to be very precise with applying each layer.I give this trio 5 stars, this is now my go-to when I do my nails!If you find this review helpful please click the button so I know!

This top coat is one of the best top coats I’ve had! I own many top coats from tomicca, beetles, venalisa, aimeili even expensive brands. The difference between this top coat compared to the rest is that this top coat actually cures very hard and so it adds strength to the nail. Other top coats I’ve used are a bit more softer when cured which doesn’t really add any strength to nails and the other brands tend to chip and dent compared to modelones. The shine for this top coat also lasts for a long time so my nails always look freshly manicured!
