6 inch Blauberg 3m Portable Air Conditioner Venting Duct Hose Extension kit.

Not as flimsy as I thought, easy to fit with instructions and everything I need provided. Does the job well for my air conditioning unit due to the location I need it to be.

Good set, just a little expensive for what it is.

Ordered and delivered fast much appreciated as its hot hot hot. Needed to move air con unit so it covers all of upstairs rather than the furthest corner from the other bedroom. Was slightly dreading attaching in to the ridged pipe that I had due to some comments, yes it's thin yes lightweight yes I can see why you could easily put a finger through it but I have long nails and managed not to do pierce it so must be fairly strong. I attached the expander to the ridged pipe first as I didn't want to twist the thinner one and damage it whilst doing it this worked a treat. Stretched the the thin one over the expander and tapped it up with small 2" section of tape at a time then finally did a long strip twice over my join. Then back over the other end again so 3 layers of tape each kept some tape in case I needed to fix any holes that may appear. Next the jubilee clip on the expander and my ridged pipe. All joined together beautifully now placing it out a window, I've tried to keep the hose as straight as possible without it drooping to help the hot air vent out without causing the unit to over heat. Been on for several hours and has worked a treat. Now you can feel some warmth from the ducting but that would happen from any extension ducting (and you have to be about 2cm from duct to actually feel it) and this has not affected the the unit doing its job in cooling the room down. So a brilliant extension kit with everything you need apart from a pair of scissors and patience took about 10mins if that. Thanks from a now cool room in South London.

I’d disagree about the hose being flimsy, it was perfect for me. The hose supplied with our air con unit was is very stiff and too short as it had to go through the top window. This solved the problem as it was so flexible. It took me less than half an hour to attach it to the existing hose. Had the air con unit running as a test for the last hour now with no problems. I went down the belt and braces route, using both the adjustable metal band and the duct tape, which incidentally is very good. I’d certainly recommend it.👍

This components rea of extrmeley low quality and have broken within seconds of trying to assemble it. Very thin spiral wire encased in plastic of lesser quality than a cheap plastic carrier bag. The compression ring to secure the tube to the plastic adapter is of jagged metal and has ripped straight though the plastic tubing making it unusuableAdd t this that the compression rign is trying to clamp a shiny thin flat plastic to a flat hard plastic means that the ring no matter how much is is tightened just slides off. A terrible waste of money

Why did you choose this product over others?: It's ok, I wouldn't buy it again though, hose is made out of cheaper materials and not pvc like my air con hose. It does fit old hose and I can extend but it gets very warm which radiates heat which defeats the object of what it was purchased for. I've ended up not using it. For what you get... Its good value for money but it's ok only useful if there is no other option.

Très complet, beaucoup d' accessoires mais peut-être un peu fragile. Par contre vu sa longueur je peux le diviser en 4. A recommander.

Articolo arrivato nei tempi previsti. Ho risolto il mio problema, non trovavo il tubo di scarico per un datato condizionatore Ariston. Qualità media ma soddisfacente.
