Bellaa Quite Reading Garden Frog Statue, Polystone

Not sure how this item got so many 5 star reviews. It is NOT the size described. Overall height is only about 6 inches -- not 8. (It is about 8 inches long.) Material is a lightweight resin. It is cute, but much smaller than advertised, and not worth $20. Will add to review as needed once it has lived in my garden for a while.

I wanted a frog reading a book. This is a frog reading a book but kind of hard to tell what is happening. I will keep it but given the choice I wouldn’t buy again. As mentioned by others it is small.

I love my frog. He is adorable. I was afraid he would look cheap but he looks really high quality and sits nicely on his own in my flower garden.

I love, love, love, this little frog figurine. The first one I ordered had an accident. and I broke while handling it. It is not fragile. It is a sturdy hallow figure. The second one I ordered had a problem with the mould shape on the book, so I sent it back. Now the figurine is no longer available. I love the whimsy of this little reading froggie. I wish that it were still available!!! Boo hoo!!!Update, at last I was able to purchase two more of these darling frog figurines, one of my house and one for my garden. Simply perfect!!!

I like everything about this frog. He's just perfect! Makes me smile every time I see him. We named him Albert.

I was looking for something like this, but a bit larger and a bit heavier. I wanted it as a symbol for storytelling, by being a sidelong reference to Mark Twain's "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County". But, once I got it, I was not disappointed. I use it for stage dressing at storytelling gigs. It is light, but it is solid, not hollow, as you might expect from something not stone or metal. Check the size before you order, and if it fits, this will work for you.

I’ve had this guy sitting near my back steps reading his book for a few months now and he always cheers me up. The first time I went outside after dark It really startled me. He is dark and quiet, and has outlasted some pretty good rain storms. I live in Northern California and there is a frog that still comes around to my back steps and I hear him calling out to this guy - always makes me laugh!!

Love this reading frog! He is great indoors or outside. And he is sturdy, and well made. I have him outside in the shade because of his composition, under an "umbrella" we made from the top of a broken plastic bird feeder and a short pole, so he is whimsically protected from any sunlight and rain. This is not necessary, but it was fun to do. He seems to be enjoying himself. I would recommend this frog. Sure wish the manufacturer would correct the description title from "Quite" to "Quiet". I wrote to them but no reply, and no correction.
