If not, what product do I need for this?** A: I cleaned light rust with a little paint thinner and then sprayed this primer on a prep gun motor. Then used black rustoleom paint over primer. And its been two years and the motor is still in good shape. **Q: Is this safe for rabbits?** A: I would not spray it on rabbits.
